Elehuris Montero 1B | COL
Rockies' Elehuris Montero: Slugs fifth homer
Montero went 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, a walk and two runs scored Tuesday against the Brewers.
Including Tuesday's game, Montero has started only six of Colorado's last 14 games. However, Brendan Rodgers got the day off, which left an opening for Montero at third base. He took advantage of the opportunity by taking Brandon Woodruff yard in the third inning for his fifth home run of the season. Montero has a .210 ISO and .406 slugging percentage through 129 big-league plate appearances, but he's also struck out at a 34.1 percent clip.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Braves' Matt Olson: Three-run homer in win
Olson went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run, a walk and two runs scored in Tuesday's 10-9 victory over the Athletics.
Olson walked and scored in the first inning before taking Cole Irvin deep for a three-run shot in the top of the third frame. The long ball was his 28th of the year and first since Aug. 24. Olson came into Tuesday's contest having gone 1-for-23 in his previous seven games, so perhaps the homer will get him back on track moving forward. On the season, the first baseman owns a .247 average with 28 homers, 90 RBI and 74 runs scored over 136 games with his new squad.

Walker's blast gave Arizona a 4-0 lead in the fifth inning. He continues to provide solid power with three homers and two doubles across his last 13 games, a span in which he's hitting .354 (17-for-48). The first baseman's surge has him up to a .237/.333/.485 slash line with 32 long balls, 79 RBI, 73 runs scored and 20 doubles through 133 games overall.

Josh Bell DH | MIN
Padres' Josh Bell: Goes yard in win
Bell went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and two walks in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Diamondbacks.
Bell got the Padres within a run on his seventh-inning solo shot. It was his first long ball since Aug. 21, and he'd gone five games without an RBI. The 30-year-old first baseman has maintained a .276/.369/.451 slash line with 17 homers, 67 RBI, 71 runs scored, 28 doubles and three triples through 567 plate appearances between the Padres and the Nationals.

LaMonte Wade 1B | CHW
Giants' LaMonte Wade: On bench versus lefty
Wade is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Dodgers, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Tyler Anderson is the second consecutive left-handed pitcher to start for Los Angeles, so Wade finds himself on the bench for the second straight game. David Villar will start at first base and bat eight Tuesday.

Elehuris Montero 1B | COL
Rockies' Elehuris Montero: Playing time dwindling
Montero has started only five of Colorado's last 13 games entering Tuesday's matchup against Milwaukee.
Montero appears to be stuck in a short-side platoon role, as four of his five starts in the last 13 games have come against lefties -- replacing either Ryan McMahon or C.J. Cron. Montero has collected 14 extra-base hits in 125 plate appearances in the majors this season, but he's also struck out at a 34.4 percent clip.

Christian Walker 1B | HOU
Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Provides insurance
Walker went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Monday's 5-0 win over San Diego.
Walker delivered a two-out, two-run single in the top of the eighth to give Arizona insurance. He's been on an RBI binge since the All-Star break, knocking in 31 runs over 42 games, tied for eighth in MLB in that span.

Freddie Freeman 1B | LAD
Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Smacks 17th homer
Freeman went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Giants.
Freeman has produced two multi-hit efforts in five games in September, though he's gone hitless in the other three. The homer ended his 19-game power drought -- he managed five doubles among 25 hits in that span. Despite the slight downturn in power, Freeman is still slashing a sturdy .324/.395/.510 with 17 homers, 84 RBI, 98 runs scored and 11 stolen bases through 134 contests this season.
