LaMonte Wade 1B | CHW
Giants' LaMonte Wade: Making another rehab appearance
Wade (knee) is expected to play five innings in a rehab game at Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.
Wade began his rehab assignment in Sacramento on Saturday and went 0-for-2 with a run and a walk. Although he isn't expected to play a full game Tuesday, he seems to be making good progress in his recovery and should be in the mix to rejoin the Giants sometime this week or during their weekend series against the Nationals.

Brewers' Rowdy Tellez: Idle against lefty
Tellez is out of the lineup for the Monday's game against the Giants.
The lefty-hitting Tellez will take a seat Monday with southpaw Sam Long on the bump for San Francisco. Short-side platoon mate Keston Hiura will fill in at first base for Tellez, who went 0-for-10 with three strikeouts during the Brewers' three-game series in Philadelphia over the weekend.

C.J. Cron 1B | BOS
Rockies' C.J. Cron: Tallies another RBI
Cron went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Sunday's win over Detroit.
Cron went hitless in the team's doubleheader Saturday, though he picked up his 17th RBI of the season on an infield single in the first inning one day later. He has hit nearly exclusively out of the cleanup role this season, and given his .283/.313/.667 line across 64 plate appearances this season there's no reason to expect that to change.

Garrett Cooper 1B | ATL
Marlins' Garrett Cooper: Plates two runs in win
Cooper went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a run, a walk and a strikeout in Sunday's 5-4 win over Atlanta.
Cooper has driven in four runs in his last two appearances after being held without an RBI in his previous six outings. Following his second multi-hit performance in 2022, the 31-year-old is hitting .273 with a home run, two doubles, six RBI and four runs.

Christian Walker 1B | HOU
Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Goes deep again
Walker went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 6-2 loss to the Mets on Sunday.
Walker took New York starter Tylor Megill 467-feet deep to left in the fourth inning to tie the game at 1-1 but wasn't able to produce in his other three at-bats. The 31-year-old now has exactly one hit in five consecutive contests, though the efforts haven't pushed Walker's average up much, as he's gone from .118 to .167.

Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Giants' Wilmer Flores: Drives in three runs
Flores went 3-for-5 with three RBI, a run and a strikeout in Sunday's 12-3 win over the Nationals.
Flores has reached base in each of his last seven appearances, and he put together back-to-back multi-hit games to close out the series against Washington. The 30-year-old has five extra-base hits in 14 appearances this year while hitting .283 with eight RBI and seven runs.

Freddie Freeman 1B | LAD
Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Launches long ball
Freeman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 10-2 win over San Diego.
Freeman tagged San Diego starter Sean Manaea for a 425-foot bomb to right in third inning but was quiet otherwise. The home run was Freeman's third of the season -- all of which have come this week -- as he's gone 7-for-26 with three home runs during the six-game stretch.

Luke Voit 1B | NYM
Padres' Luke Voit: Lands on injured list
Voit was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a biceps tendon injury. The transaction is retroactive to April 23.
The 31-year-old sat out of the lineup Saturday with the biceps injury and will now be sidelined for at least the next week and a half. Voit was scheduled to undergo medical testing, but the results of those tests remain unclear, leaving his return timeline up in the air. Luis Campusano was recalled from Triple-A El Paso in a corresponding move.

Josh Bell DH | MIN
Nationals' Josh Bell: Won't start, could pinch hit Sunday
Manager Dave Martinez said the MRI on Bell's right hamstring came back "pretty clean," but the first baseman won't be in the lineup Sunday against the Giants, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports. He could be available off the bench as a pinch hitter.
The 29-year-old was removed from Saturday's contest with tightness in his right hamstring, but he appears to have avoided a serious injury. Bell also exited a contest earlier this week with a knee issue but didn't end up missing any time for that injury. He'll have Monday's scheduled off day to aid in his recovery before potentially sitting out additional games. Maikel Franco will shift to first base in his place while Lucius Fox fills in at the hot corner.
