Goldschmidt went 1-for-2 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored during a 12-2 win over the Tigers in the first game of Thursday's doubleheader.
The blast extended his hitting streak to six games, although Goldschmidt saw it snapped in the nightcap when he went 0-for-3 with a walk. The veteran slugger is slashing .325/.459/.513 through 37 games on the year with five homers and 15 RBI.

Braves' Freddie Freeman: Turns in six-RBI night
Freeman went 3-for-6 with a home run, six RBI and two runs Wednesday in the Braves' 29-9 beatdown of the Marlins.
Freeman's evening was highlighted by a two-run, line-drive homer in the third and a liner that took a wicked hop and bounced off Jazz Chisholm before dribbling into right field for a bases-clearing double. The first baseman leads the team with a .329 batting average and .449 on-base percentage on the season and has now collected 16 RBI over his last six games.

Alonso went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored as he helped the Mets to a 7-6 win over the Orioles on Wednesday.
Alonso played the hero in Wednesday's game as he took Hunter Harvey deep on the first pitch he saw in the eighth to give the Mets their first lead of the game. The 25-year-old is still hitting a mere .234/.339/.474 this season but is tied for fifth in the majors with 11 home runs.

Bell went 2-for-4 with a double in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the White Sox.
The double represented his first extra-base hit in September and the two hits pushed his batting average (.206) back over the Mendoza Line. Bell has had plenty of false starts this season, but he's compiled more walks (three) than strikeouts (one) over his last three games for the first time in 2020.

Solano went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Mariners.
Solano has now registered two three-hit performances in two of his last three games and seems to be heating up at the plate, hitting safely in five of seven contests this month and slashing .462/.500/.808 in that stretch. He also has six extra-base hits across that span after racking up seven during the entire month of August.

Walker has reached base safely in six straight games, but he has also gone 10 straight contests without two or more knocks. He's only hitting .189 in that stretch but has remained productive, racking up three homers and 10 RBI over that span.

Over the last 11 games leading up to Tuesday, Calhoun batted just .114 (4-for-35) with a .622 OPS and one RBI.

Bohm continues to impress in his first crack at big-league pitching; even after an 0-for-2 effort in the nightcap, he's slashing .291/.344/.419 through 24 games with two homers and 15 RBI.
