Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Mets' Wilmer Flores: Out of lineup Tuesday
Flores is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, Marie I. Guardado of NJ Advance Media reports.
Flores started the Mets' last two games at first base, but will have the night off despite his improved performance at the plate. Over the last 14 days, Flores has posted a .286/.350/.459 line with two home runs and seven RBI. James Loney will start at first base and be hitting fifth Tuesday evening.

Anthony Rizzo 1B | NYY
Cubs' Anthony Rizzo: Drives in three Sunday versus Cardinals
Rizzo finished 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Cardinals.
Rizzo spread out his production, singling in runs in the first and sixth innings before launching a solo home run to right in the eighth inning that gave the Cubs a glimmer of hope. The homer was Rizzo's first in 22 games, but he still sports what would be a career best .972 OPS and he sits third in the National League with 85 RBI.

Joey Votto 1B | TOR
Reds' Joey Votto: Blasts 19th homer of year Sunday
Votto went 2-for-4 with a double, a homer and three RBI Sunday against the Brewers.
Votto had been going through a power outage, and this was the first time he's left the yard since July 26. Despite playing on a team in a rebuilding phase, he's already driven in 62 runs, and it's quite possible he posts his highest numbers in that category since 2011.

Freddie Freeman 1B | LAD
Braves' Freddie Freeman: Smacks solo homer in Saturday loss
Freeman went 1-for-3 with a solo homer and two walks in Saturday's 7-6 loss to the Nationals.
Freeman opened the scoring with a 403-foot shot to right in the first, his second homer in as many days. Freeman has four dingers overall in the last four games and has reached safely in eight straight. The 26-year-old has now equaled his career high in homers with six weeks left in the season, and has a solid .286/.379/.538 line in 2016.

Tommy Joseph 1B | TEX
Phillies' Tommy Joseph: Sits again Sunday
Joseph is out of the lineup Sunday against the Rockies.
Joseph got a longer look at first base in the middle of the season, but has alternated with Ryan Howard in a platoon-like manner for the last six games. If this pattern continues, Joseph may see his starts against right-handed pitching limited moving forward. He's sat the last five games a right-hander has taken the mound for the opposing team.

Joey Votto 1B | TOR
Reds' Joey Votto: Records four hits in victory against Brewers on Saturday
Votto went 4-for-5 with two RBI and a run in the Reds 11-5 victory over the Brewers on Saturday.
It was Votto's third four-hit game of the season and second this month. He's absolutely red hot, going 10-for-17 (.588) with three extra-base hits in the last four games. His batting average now sits over .300 for the first time this year. He is slashing .301/.428/.504 with 18 home runs, 59 RBI and 71 runs in 385 at-bats this season.

Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Mets' Wilmer Flores: Singles three times with a walk off
Flores singled three times, scored a run and was the game-winning at-bat in Saturday night's 3-2 win over the Padres, as he forced a failed fielder's choice at home plate in the 11th inning.
Not only did the 3-for-4 performance get the third baseman back on track after failing to reach base in his previous nine at-bats, but it helped end his team's four-game losing streak.

Asdrubal Cabrera 1B | CIN
Mets' Asdrubal Cabrera: Could begin rehab assignment Tuesday
Cabrera (knee) may go on a rehab assignment as soon as Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Rubin reports.
The Mets just activated Jose Reyes after two rehab games with short-season Brooklyn, so Cabrera could be activated by next weekend if his rehab begins Tuesday. With Reyes currently slotted in as the team's shortstop, the Mets could desperately use Cabrera back, especially for the defensive upgrade.

Freddie Freeman 1B | LAD
Braves' Freddie Freeman: Blasts 22nd homer, drives in four in win
Freeman went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored in an 8-5 victory over the Nationals on Friday.
The matchup with Nats ace Stephen Strasburg didn't faze Freeman one bit, as the first baseman connected on a three-run homer in the fifth inning to vault his team into the lead. On a Braves squad that ranks last in baseball in home runs by a significant margin, Freeman is the lone bat in the lineup who has consistently supplied power. His 22 homers put him just one short of his personal best, but the dead weight surrounding him in the lineup has resulted in Freeman generating a meager 53 RBI and 65 runs on the season.

Ryan Howard 1B | COL
Phillies' Ryan Howard: Homers, drives in five Friday
Howard went 3-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Friday's 10-6 win over the Rockies.
Howard's homer was a 457-foot grand slam off right-hander Jon Gray. He is hitting .386 with five home runs and 13 RBI since the All-Star break.
