Rizzo went 3-for-3 with a pair of solo home runs in Wednesday's win over the Giants.

Rizzo took San Francisco starter Matt Moore deep in the second and fourth innings. The slugging first baseman now has home runs in two straight games and three of his last four. Rizzo is still hitting just .238, but it appears that he's heating up as we head into June.

Flores went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, three RBI and a run against the Padres on Wednesday.

He's gone exactly 2-for-4 in three consecutive games and is 12-for-26 (.462) with a homer and three doubles over the last eight contests. That stretch has lifted his average to .307, fully 40 points north of last season's .267 mark, but there's reason to think that might not be sustainable. Flores' BABIP is up, but his line-drive rate is down and he's hitting the ball in the air a lot -- not a promising combination. Still, he has the stick to provide fantasy value in deeper formats.

Shaw has been promoted to Triple-A Sacramento.

Shaw has been on fire for Double-A Richmond, slashing .301/.390/.511 with six home runs and 29 RBI. Despite being drafted as a first baseman, the 23-year-old has played a good amount of left field this season, suggesting a possible call-up if his offensive surge can continue at the next level.

Bour went 4-for-5 with a double, a home run, four runs scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 11-9 win over the A's.

The first baseman has been on an absolute tear, hitting eight homers in his last 12 games with a .429/.500/1.049 slash line, 12 runs and 12 RBI over that stretch. Bour is also producing against same-side pitching, hitting .303/.395/.636 in 38 plate appearances against left-handers this season with the first three homers of his career off them, and on a Marlins team that needs all the offense it can get he should remain locked into an everyday role.

Rizzo went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer in Tuesday's win over the Giants.

Rizzo's two-run homer in the fourth inning came on Johnny Cueto's first offering of the at-bat. Rizzo's team-leading 25th and 26th RBI doubled the Cubs' advantage, providing more than enough insurance for starter Jon Lester. Rizzo's production has been down in May, but he is now seven for his last 24 (.292) with three home runs over his last seven games. Look for his bat to continue to heat up as the temperature does.

Cabrera (thumb) is scheduled to begin a rehab-assignment with Double-A Binghamton on Tuesday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Cabrera was able to take swings in a batting cage without any issue Monday, clearing the way for him to head out on a rehab assignment. If all goes well, he could rejoin the Mets for the weekend series against the Pirates, when he's first eligible to be activated.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a pair of runs in Monday's 5-1 win over the White Sox.

After collecting five total bases Monday, Goldschmidt's on-base and slugging percentages for the season sit at .448 and .580, respectively, both of which represent career highs. In addition to those tremendous numbers, Goldschmidt has also nabbed 11 stolen bases, putting him on pace for his first 30-30 campaign.

Cabrera (thumb) took swings in the batting cage Saturday without any issues, Justin Tasch of the New York Daily News reports.

The shortstop is targeting a return to the lineup Friday, when he's first eligible, but the Mets may be cautious with Cabrera and hold him out until they're confident his thumb is 100 percent, given the issues they've had this season with rushing players back into action too quickly.

Votto went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and three RBI during Sunday's loss to Colorado.

Sunday was just business as usual for the slugger, as Votto has registered seven multi-hit games in May and sports a .349/.512/.619 slash line for the month. Considering the veteran first baseman has typically been a better second-half producer, his excellent start to 2017 is laying the groundwork for his first 30-homer season since his MVP campaign in 2010.

Bour went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Dodgers.

The hot-hitting first baseman now has 11 home runs on the year after going deep in three of his last four games. Seven of his 11 dingers on the season have come in May, and he's seen his line rise to .262/.349/.524. His ninth-inning long ball wasn't cheap, either, as it came against closer Kenley Jansen. Bour is certainly making his case as Miami's everyday first baseman and could be in the midst of a breakout season.
