  • Bobby Dalbec 1B | CHW

Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: Belts ninth homer

Dalbec went 3-for-3 with a triple, a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Saturday's 7-1 win over the Royals.

The 25-year-old slugger capped his big day by taking Jackson Kowar deep in the ninth inning for a two-run shot. Dalbec has nine homers on the year, and four of them have come in his last 12 games.

  • Alec Bohm 3B | PHI

Phillies' Alec Bohm: Three hits in big win

Bohm went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI in Saturday's 13-6 win over the Giants,

All three knocks were singles, but it was still a productive day for the sophomore third baseman. Bohm is making plenty of contact in June, batting .360 (18-for-50) through 14 games with seven RBI and nine runs, but he has only one double over that stretch and is looking for his first homer since May 6.

  • Rhys Hoskins 1B | CLE

Phillies' Rhys Hoskins: Goes yard twice in win

Hoskins went 3-for-6 with a double, two home runs and six RBI in Saturday's 13-6 win over the Giants.

The 28-year-old slugger had been mired in a slump, batting .083 (4-for-48) with just one homer over his prior 12 games, but Hoskins erupted in San Francisco, taking Alex Wood deep in the second inning and Conner Menez in the seventh. Hoskins is hitting .240 with 15 homers and 42 RBI through 68 contests on the year.

  • C.J. Cron 1B | BOS

Rockies' C.J. Cron: Not starting Saturday

Cron isn't starting Saturday's game against the Brewers, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Cron hit a grand slam Thursday and delivered a walkoff single in extra innings Friday, but he'll get a breather following eight consecutive starts. Joshua Fuentes will take over at first base and bat seventh.

  • Dominic Smith DH | ATL

Mets' Dominic Smith: On bench for nightcap

Smith will sit for the second half of Saturday's doubleheader against the Nationals, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Smith sits after going 0-for-3 in the afternoon contest. Brandon Drury gets the start in left field for the nightcap.

  • Luke Voit 1B | NYM

Yankees' Luke Voit: Goes deep in rehab appearance

Voit (oblique) went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBI in a minor-league rehab game with Double-A Somerset on Friday.

Voit's production at the plate Friday was the surest sign yet that he's ready to return to the big club. He mashed a two-run double in the second inning and a solo homer in the sixth. Barring any setbacks, Voit is expected to rejoin the Yankees for Tuesday's game against the Royals.

  • Andrew Vaughn 1B | MIL

White Sox's Andrew Vaughn: Won't miss time

Vaughn (face) will bat seventh and play left field Saturday against the Astros.

Vaughn exited Friday's game with a facial contusion after getting hit by a throw while running the bases. The injury evidently wasn't a particularly serious one, as he won't wind up missing a single contest.

  • Alex Kirilloff LF | MIN

Twins' Alex Kirilloff: Heads to bench

Kiriloff is not starting Saturday against Texas.

Kiriloff isn't necessarily at risk of slipping into a true bench role, but the returns of Max Kepler (hamstring) and Byron Buxton (hip) over the last two days can't help but make the Twins' outfield considerably more crowded. Kepler, Buxton and Trevor Larnach will be the outfielders Saturday.

  • Josh Naylor 1B | SEA

Indians' Josh Naylor: Not starting Saturday

Naylor is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Pirates.

Cleveland's regular starting nine will be down one member with the series taking place in a National League Park. Harold Ramirez will start in right field in his absence.

  • Giants' Wilmer Flores: On bench Saturday

Flores is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies, Mark W. Sanchez of KNBR 680 San Francisco reports.

The veteran receives the day off following a 1-for-4 effort in Friday's contest. Flores may be called upon to pinch hit, though, after he homered in that role Wednesday. Lefty-hitting Jason Vosler starts at third for the Giants' matchup against righty Aaron Nola.
