  • Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL

Blue Jays' Rowdy Tellez: Remains out of lineup

Tellez isn't starting Saturday against the Orioles.

Tellez has gone 0-for-8 with three strikeouts across his last four appearances, and he'll retreat to the bench for the fourth time in the last five games. Bo Bichette will serve as the designated hitter while Joe Panik enters the lineup at second base.

  • Ty France 1B | SD

Mariners' Ty France: Another three-hit game

France went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Rays.

France ended his RBI streak at four games, but he also extended his hitting streak to seven contests -- a span in which he's recorded three multi-hit performances to go along with two homers, six RBI and four total extra-base hits.

  • Matt Olson 1B | ATL

Athletics' Matt Olson: Homers in first inning

Olson went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a strikeout in Friday's 5-3 win over the Yankees.

Olson blasted his 19th home run of the season with two outs in the first inning Friday, but he was unable to reach base in any of his other four at-bats. However, the 27-year-old has been dominant recently, as he's gone 12-for-25 with four home runs, a double, nine RBI and six runs across the last six games.

  • Andrew Vaughn 1B | MIL

White Sox's Andrew Vaughn: Exits with facial contusion

Vaughn left Friday's game against the Astros with a facial contusion.

Vaughn was hit in the face by a throw while running out a double in the sixth inning Friday, and he was removed from the game in the bottom of the eighth inning. He's currently considered day-to-day, but Jake Lamb could see increased at-bats if Vaughn is forced to miss additional time.

  • Donovan Solano 1B | TEX

Giants' Donovan Solano: Gets rest Friday

Solano is not in the starting lineup Friday against the Phillies, Mark W. Sanchez of KNBR 680 San Francisco reports.

Solano enters Friday on a five-game hitting streak, during which he's gone 7-for-21 with three doubles, four RBI and four runs scored. He'll get a breather to begin Friday's game but figures to be a top option for manager Gabe Kapler off the bench. Wilmer Flores will shift to second base as Jason Vosler mans the hot corner.

  • Bobby Dalbec 1B | CHW

Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: Out of Friday's lineup

Dalbec is not in the lineup Friday against the Royals, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Dalbec has a .974 OPS with 10 strikeouts over his past seven games and will be on the bench for the series opener at Kansas City. Marwin Gonzalez will start at first base and bat eighth Friday.

  • Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL

Blue Jays' Rowdy Tellez: Not in Friday's lineup

Tellez is out of the lineup Friday versus Baltimore.

Tellez went 0-for-3 against the Yankees on Thursday and is on the bench for the third time in the past four games. Joe Panik will serve as the designated hitter while Santiago Espinal starts at the hot corner.

  • Josh Bell DH | MIN

Nationals' Josh Bell: On bench versus lefty

Bell is not in the lineup Friday against the Mets.

Bell has an .887 OPS through 13 games in June and will take a seat Friday with lefty Joey Lucchesi pitching for New York. Ryan Zimmerman will start at first base in his place.

  • Ty France 1B | SD

Mariners' Ty France: Extends RBI streak

France went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's win over Tampa Bay.

France extended his hitting streak to six games, and he has posted two multi-hit games during that stretch. The 26-year-old has also plated at least one run in each of his last four contests and has been one of the most productive hitters for the Mariners of late. He's hitting .283 with an .855 OPS on the month.

  • Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Knocks in two

Walker went 0-for-4 with two RBI in Thursday's 10-3 loss to San Francisco.

Walker benefitted from hitting behind Eduardo Escobar, who had two extra-base hits and put men in scoring position for him. He was able get runners home with productive outs. Walker's driven in seven runs over the last nine games but a .571 OPS this season is a major disappointment.
