  • Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Swats 20th homer

Guerrero went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run and two walks in Saturday's win over the Red Sox.

Guerrero leads all of baseball in the home run department and blasted a massive shot above the Green Monster off Nick Pivetta in the first inning, setting that tone for a Toronto offense that clubbed five homers as a team. The star first baseman has been one of the best hitters in MLB this season and is averaging .338 with a 1.123 OPS aside from leading all of baseball in dingers.

  • Luke Raley RF | SEA

    Dodgers' Luke Raley: Rejoins Dodgers

Raley was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma prior to Saturday's game against the Rangers, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

With Max Muncy forced to go on the injured list with a right-oblique strain, a spot opened up for Raley to return to the big leagues. Raley posted a subpar .182/.280/.273 slash line across 50 plate appearances during his previous stints with the big club this season, so he'll look to find more success at the dish this time around.

  • Matt Olson 1B | ATL

Athletics' Matt Olson: Homers, plates four

Olson went 4-for-5 with a three-run home run, a double and an additional RBI in Saturday's win over the Royals.

Olson socked his 16th home run in the eighth inning off Wade Davis, and the first baseman has now hit safely in nine of his last 11 games, posting five multi-hit games during that span. The slugging infielder boosted his average to .285 with a .956 OPS following his first four-hit game of the campaign.

  • Josh Bell DH | MIN

Nationals' Josh Bell: Not starting evening game

Bell will sit for the second half of Saturday's doubleheader against the Giants, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Bell went 0-for-3 in the first game of the day. Ryan Zimmerman will take over at first base in the nightcap.

  • Evan White 1B | LAA

Mariners' Evan White: Homers in first rehab game

White (hip) went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Triple-A Tacoma's win over Sacramento on Friday.

White made his first rehab appearance after a one-day delay, and he gave the Rainiers a quick lift with his three-run blast in the second inning. The 25-year-old is expected to log several games with Tacoma before being deemed ready for activation.

  • Donovan Solano 1B | TEX

Giants' Donovan Solano: Out of lineup for afternoon game

Solano will not start the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against Washington, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Solano sits after starting 12 of the last 13 games. Wilmer Flores slides to second base in his absence, with Jason Vosler starting at third. Solano will likely return to the lineup for the nightcap.

  • Andrew Vaughn 1B | MIL

White Sox's Andrew Vaughn: Out of Saturday's lineup

Vaughn is not in Saturday's lineup against the Tigers.

He is hitting .200 with one home run in 25 June at-bats. Jake Lamb will start in left field and bat seventh.

  • Jose Abreu 1B | HOU

White Sox's Jose Abreu: Records two hits Friday

Abreu went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Friday's win over the Tigers.

Abreu has recorded back-to-back multi-hit games and has three doubles over his last two contests, but he's currently riding a power drought and has gone 11 straight games without a home run. The slugger continues to struggle this season but seems to be moving slowly in the right direction -- this was just the third time this season where he recorded two or more consecutive multi-hit appearances.

  • Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Clubs MLB-leading 19th homer

Guerrero went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double and a walk in Friday's loss against the Red Sox.

Guerrero smashed his 19th homer of the campaign off reliever Hirokazu Sawamura in the sixth inning, and he continues to see the ball extremely well while supplying power to all fields. The slugger has hit safely in six of his nine games this month while blasting three homers, and he's hitting an impressive .419 with a stellar 1.352 OPS across 37 plate appearances in June.

  • Bobby Dalbec 1B | CHW

Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: Homers Friday

Dalbec went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-5 win over Toronto.

Dalbec, who is putting in extra time working on timing of his leg kick, is 3-for-8 with a homer, a double and three RBI the last two games after a 3-for-38 slump. The kick helps Dalbec time his swing at the pitched ball, and pitchers do their best to disrupt the timing of the kick. He's working on making the move more compact, which in theory will improve his timing.
