Mariners' Evan White: Expected to resume rehab Friday
Manager Scott Servais said that he expects White (hip) to be in the lineup with Triple-A Tacoma on Friday after being a late scratch Thursday, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports .
White was originally slated to be in the Rainiers' lineup Thursday to begin his rehab assignment, but he was ultimately scratched because he didn't feel quite right. Based on the skipper's comments, the expectation is that White will play with Tacoma on Friday, though he'll still have to get through pregame warmups without trouble before he's pencilled into the lineup. White remains on track to rejoin the Mariners within the next week.

Yandy Diaz DH | TB
Rays' Yandy Diaz: Elite on-base presence
Diaz, who owns a .409/.536/.545 slash line over the 28 plate appearances covering his last six games, is now sporting a .397 on-base percentage for the season, ranking him eighth in MLB.
Diaz has often been the bane of opposing pitchers' existence this season, as his career-high 17.6 percent walk rate and impressively modest 13.4 percent strikeout rate have made him one of the toughest outs in all of baseball. The burly infielder has surprisingly only left the yard once, but he's been a decent run producer with 21 RBI and continues to set himself up for success with his constant presence on the basepaths.
