Dominic Smith DH | ATL
Mets' Dominic Smith: On base three times Tuesday
Smith went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Rockies.
The 25-year-old has been one of the few constants in the Mets lineup this season, but that hasn't translated into production. Smith is hitting .280 (21-for-75) in May, but he hasn't homered since April 13 and has only two long balls and 15 RBI on the year, well below the expectations created by his strong 2020 campaign.

Carlos Santana 1B | ARI
Royals' Carlos Santana: Swats 10th homer
Santana went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Rays.
His fourth-inning shot off Rich Hill got the Royals on the board. Santana has gone yard in back-to-back games and four times in the last nine, giving him 10 homers and 32 RBI on the year to go along with a .256/.393/.474 slash line.

Christian Walker 1B | HOU
Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Begins rehab assignment
Walker (oblique) began a rehab assignment at Triple-A Reno and played games Monday and Tuesday, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.
Walker is on the verge of returning to Diamondbacks, as manager Torey Lovullo estimated at least one more rehab game before the club makes a determination of whether he's ready to return. This is Walker's second stint on the injured list due to the same oblique issue, though it looks like this time he'll miss fewer games than the 18 he missed earlier.

Rhys Hoskins 1B | CLE
Phillies' Rhys Hoskins: Launches game-deciding homer
Hoskins went 1-for-3 with two-run home run during Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Marlins.
The 28-year-old went deep off Sandy Alcantara during the fourth inning, which ended up being the only runs from either team during the contest. Hoskins has a .262/.335/.492 slash line with 10 home runs, 12 doubles, 29 RBI and 29 runs through 49 games this season, though Tuesday's long ball was only his second in the month of May.

Jose Abreu 1B | HOU
White Sox's Jose Abreu: Slugs 10th homer
Abreu went 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBI on Tuesday against the Cardinals.
Abreu took Jack Flaherty yard for a two-run home run in the fourth inning -- his 10th of the season. He also added a run-scoring single two frames later to post his second multi-RBI effort in his last three games. Though he's predictably regressed from his stellar 2020 season, Abreu is still hitting .256/344/.494 with 24 runs scored and 39 RBI across 183 plate appearances on the campaign.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Launches massive homer
Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's win over the Yankees.
Guerrero now has three home runs over his last two contests and continues to show why he's been one of the most productive hitters in all of baseball in 2021. The slugging first baseman now has 16 homers on the season and is also posting a 1.121 OPS.

Josh Bell DH | MIN
Nationals' Josh Bell: Starting to heat up
Bell went 2-for-3 with a home run and a walk in Tuesday's loss to the Reds.
Bell kept the Nationals in the game with a ninth-inning blast off reliever Amir Garrett, but it wasn't enough to turn the tide. He's warming up with two homers over his last five appearances, a span in which he's recorded three multi-hit efforts.

Ryan Mountcastle 1B | BAL
Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Nursing bruised hand after HBP
Mountcastle was diagnosed with a bruised left hand Tuesday after X-rays came back negative, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.
The 24-year-old was hit by a 93 mph pitch during Wednesday's game against the Twins, which eventually forced him to leave the contest. Mountcastle appears to have avoided a serious injury and should be considered day-to-day.

Luke Voit 1B | NYM
Yankees' Luke Voit: Expected to miss weekend series
Voit will likely miss the Yankees' weekend series in Detroit, as his wife is expected to give birth Friday, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.
Voit should appear in the rest of the mid-week series against the Blue Jays before missing three games against the Tigers. Mike Ford will likely see some time in the starting lineup in his absence.

Indians' Josh Naylor: On bench Tuesday
Naylor is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Tigers.
Naylor hits the bench with lefty Tarik Skubal on the mound for the Tigers. Harold Ramirez will start in right field.
