O'Hearn will start at first base and bat eighth Sunday against the Twins.

Prior to sitting out Saturday, O'Hearn had started four consecutive contests, going 2-for-13 with a home run and three walks in his first MLB at-bats. The 25-year-old looks like he'll have the opportunity to play on a near-everyday basis, with he and Lucas Duda likely splitting time between first base and designated hitter.

Cron is out of the lineup Sunday against the White Sox, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Cron has gone just 8-for-42 (.190 average) at the plate since the All-Star break, though three of his hits during that stretch have been home runs. The slump shouldn't result in Cron surrendering his role as the Rays' primary designated hitter, though he may begin ceding starts to Ji-Man Choi -- who enters the lineup Sunday -- more frequently if he fails to right the ship.

Santana went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and a pair of runs in Saturday's win over the Marlins.

The first baseman hit his 17th homer of the year with a fifth-inning shot off of Jose Urena. His .221 batting average remains a negative, though it's largely the product of poor batted-ball luck in the first month of the season. He continues to drive the ball, providing solid power numbers, and he's demonstrated excellent control of the strike zone, walking 17.3 percent of the time while striking out in just 14.1 percent of his plate appearances.

Votto is out of the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Nationals.

Votto was hit by two pitches Saturday -- including one at the knees that appeared retaliatory for the Reds plunking Bryce Harper (knee) -- but he remained in the game, and no injury was ever officially announced. The veteran first baseman is likely just receiving a breather, with Brandon Dixon getting the start at first base Sunday for Cincinnati.

Rizzo is not in the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Padres, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.

Rizzo is 6-for-12 with two home runs against the Padres this series and has a .377/.467/.675 slash line over his last 20 games, but he will head to the bench for the first time since July 10. Victor Caratini will start at first base and bat seventh Sunday for the Cubs.

Abreu went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Rays.

His fourth-inning shot off Blake Snell pulled the White Sox level before they stole the game in the ninth inning. Abreu's numbers in 2018 are below his usual standards, but he still has a .267/.328/.484 slash line with 19 home runs and 63 RBI in 108 games.

Wade was placed on the seven-day disabled list at Triple-A Rochester with a right hamstring strain, Jake Depue of 1500 ESPN reports.

The strain is reportedly not a serious one, but he'll miss at least a week. The 24-year-old is hitting .250/.376/.378 in 50 games since he was promoted to Rochester.

Rizzo went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer in a win over the Padres on Saturday.

Rizzo went deep against his former team for the second time in as many days, and he now has five home runs over his last nine games. He's enjoyed leading off since the middle of July, as he's gotten his average up to a respectable .264 after a sluggish start to the season.

Olson went 1-for-2 with a double and two walks in an extra-innings win over the Tigers on Friday.

It's now a five-game hitting streak for Olson, a modest-but- nevertheless-encouraging stretch of offense during which he's laced four doubles, knocked in a pair of runs and posted three multi-hit efforts overall. Olson had seen his average plummet all the way to .229 prior to the streak, its lowest point since May 13.

While he's not a prototypical leadoff hitter, Rizzo has enjoyed his time atop the order. The 28-year-old has exclusively hit first since July 13, and in that time he's batting .375 with four home runs and 12 RBI. Rizzo may be more ideally suited for a spot in the middle of the lineup, but it's hard to see the Cubs messing with a good thing at the moment.
