Abreu went 4-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 9-7 loss to the Twins.

Abreu's been a run-producing machine these past two weeks, knocking in 13 runners while scoring 13 himself. During that stretch, he's gone 20-for-48 (.417) to raise his batting average above .300 for the first time since the first week of the season.

Flores is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Flores is just 1-for-15 (.067) over his last four starts, so he'll head to the bench to clear his head. T.J. Rivera will slide over to third base for the game, opening up a spot for Gavin Cecchini to start at the keystone.

Stassi was recalled from Double-A Reading on Tuesday.

With Jerad Eickhoff (back) landing on the disabled list, Stassi was added as an extra bench bat, though he could very well head back to the minors when the Phillies need to summon a replacement for Eickhoff on Friday or Saturday. Stassi slashed just .197/.290/.361 in 69 plate appearances (37 games) with the Phillies earlier in the season.

Bell is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Brewers.

Bell is hitless over his last two contests (0-for-8), so he'll head to the bench for a breather after starting six straight games. Jose Osuna will start at first base in his place.

Bour went 2-for-4 with a grand slam in Monday's win over the Nationals.

The Marlins fell into an early 6-0 hole, but Bour's third-inning blast kicked off the comeback in an eventual 8-7 victory. The homer, No. 18 on the year, was his second in four games since he returned from an ankle injury.

Cabrera (thumb) is expected to return from the disabled list Friday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports Monday.

Cabrera would be returning from the disabled list on his first eligible day if so. The thumb sprain he suffered was reportedly minor, so expect him back in the lineup as the Mets begin a weekend series with the Giants. Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports he will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday at High-A St. Lucie, which would put him perfectly on schedule for a Friday return.

Gurriel is out of the lineup Monday against Oakland.

Gurriel is on a roll, as he's riding a five-game hitting streak and has four doubles over his past three games. Still, the Astros have an embarrassment of riches at the corners. Gurriel has played the past eight games for Houston, and he'll take his turn on the bench as Marwin Gonzalez slides back in at first base.

Calhoun went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's loss to the Royals.

Calhoun has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball this month, slashing .359/.440/.609 in 74 June plate appearances. Patient fantasy owners have been rewarded for hanging in there with the veteran outfielder when he struggled out of the gate, as his current .279 BABIP (.304 career BABIP) indicates that he has more positive luck coming his way.

Freeman (wrist) was seen playing catch on the field before Monday's game against the Giants, Kevin McAlpin of 680 The Fan reports.

This is the encouraging news, as it's the first sign of Freeman resuming any sort of baseball activity since landing on the disabled list in mid-May. If his original eight-week timetable holds true, the 27-year-old will return to the Braves sometime shortly after the All-Star break. In the meantime, Matt Adams will continue to fill in at first base.

Rizzo went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and three runs scored during Sunday's win over Pittsburgh.

Rizzo is now 9-for-22 with three homers, two doubles, eight RBI and six runs through five games as Chicago's leadoff hitter. The move to the top of the lineup clearly hasn't hindered his long-standing tear, as Rizzo sports a 1.125 OPS with 10 homers, eight doubles, 26 RBI and 26 runs through his past 110 at-bats.
