Jonah Bride 3B | TEX
Marlins' Jonah Bride: Launches three-run homer
Bride went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional RBI in a loss to the Phillies on Wednesday.
Bride helped Miami get off to a promising start with a three-run homer in the first inning and added a sacrifice fly in the fourth, but the team's pitching couldn't contain Philadelphia's offense. Bride continues to be a bright spot for the Marlins, as he's notched at least one hit in 15 of 19 games since the All-Star break and is batting .308 (20-for-69) with five home runs and 17 RBI during that span. That has put him on the fantasy map, especially because he's moved into an everyday role since Josh Bell was traded to Arizona.

Pete Alonso 1B | BAL
Mets' Pete Alonso: Perfect at plate Wednesday
Alonso went 4-for-4 with a solo home run and a two-run double in Wednesday's 9-1 win over the Athletics.
This was Alonso's first four-hit game this season. The first baseman has gone 17-for-61 (.279) with six homers and 15 RBI over his last 16 contests, though he also has an unsettling 27 strikeouts in that span. For the season, he's up to a .246/.329/.475 slash line, 26 homers, 68 RBI, 68 runs scored, 27 doubles and three stolen bases over 120 games.

Jake Cronenworth 1B | SD
Padres' Jake Cronenworth: Slugs three-run homer
Cronenworth went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Wednesday's win over the Pirates.
Cronenworth launched his 15th home run of the season, a three-run shot off Mitch Keller in the opening frame. Cronenworth now owns a six-game hitting streak and is batting .261 with two extra-base hits, seven RBI and three runs scored during that span. The 30-year-old is slashing .249/.318/.412 with 15 home runs, 70 RBI, 56 runs scored and two steals in 117 games this season.

Rhys Hoskins 1B | CLE
Brewers' Rhys Hoskins: Sitting down Wednesday
Hoskins isn't in the Brewers' lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Dodgers.
Hoskins has been seeing the ball well since the beginning of August, slashing .300/.349/.500 with two homers and four RBI across 43 plate appearances. He'll get a breather against right-hander Walker Buehler while Jake Bauers covers first base and Tyler Black serves as Milwaukee's designated hitter.

Ty France 1B | SD
Reds' Ty France: Getting evening off
France is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals.
France will get a respite for the series finale after he went 4-for-17 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run while starting each of the last five games at either first base or designated hitter. Spencer Steer will get the nod at first base Wednesday, while Jeimer Candelario serves as the Reds' DH.

Ben Rice 1B | NYY
Yankees' Ben Rice: Sitting Wednesday
Rice is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox.
After going 0-for-5 with a strikeout through the first two games of the series, Rice will get a day off during Wednesday's series finale. DJ LeMahieu will step in to cover first base while batting ninth.

Triston Casas 1B | BOS
Red Sox's Triston Casas: Unlikely to be back Thursday
Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Wednesday that he does not anticipate Casas (ribs) being activated from the 60-day injured Thursday for the start of their series in Baltimore, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.
Casas had previously been ruled out through the end of the team's homestand and he won't be back for the start of its road trip, either. The first baseman seems poised to return from the IL any day now, but a precise date has been difficult to nail down. Casas has been shelved since late April with a cartilage tear in his left ribcage and has gone 8-for-30 with a 10:5 K:BB in eight rehab games with Triple-A Worcester.

Tyler Soderstrom C | ATH
Athletics' Tyler Soderstrom: Begins strengthening program
Soderstrom (wrist) began a strengthening program Monday, MLB.com reports.
The rookie has yet to resume baseball activities and is without a timetable for return. Given Soderstrom is still taking relatively modest steps in his recovery, a return prior to the end of August seems unlikely.

Rowdy Tellez 1B | TEX
Pirates' Rowdy Tellez: Bowing out against southpaw
Tellez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres.
The lefty-hitting Tellez will exit the lineup while the Padres send southpaw Martin Perez to the bump Wednesday. Connor Joe will check in at first base for Tellez, who had started each of the last nine games while slashing .290/.313/.387 with two RBI and two runs.

Luis Arraez 2B | SF
Padres' Luis Arraez: Swipes bag in win
Arraez went 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs and a stolen base in Tuesday's 3-0 victory against the Pirates.
Arraez was the only Padre to reach base three times in the victory, and he scored two of the team's three runs. Arraez also sweetened his fantasy line with a stolen base in the first inning. He's far from a speedster on the basepaths, but Arraez does have a career-high five thefts on the campaign.
