Clemens went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Thursday's 11-8 loss to the White Sox.

Clemens has seen his playing time slip early in September. He's gone just 6-for-31 (.194) at the plate over his last 11 games, with his ninth-inning homer Thursday being his first extra-base hit in that span. For the season, he's at a .210/.280/.427 slash line with 15 homers, 41 RBI, 39 runs scored and two stolen bases across 101 games between the Twins and the Phillies. Clemens and fellow left-handed hitter Edouard Julien have been competing for most of the playing time at first base lately.

Medical testing on Chisholm's knees came back clean after leaving Thursday's game versus the Astros, and he hopes to be in the lineup Friday against the Blue Jays, Brendan Kuty of The Athletic reports.

Chisholm injured both of his knees while in the field Thursday and exited the game in the fourth inning having gone 0-for-2 with a strikeout. It's unclear exactly what testing was done, and the team has not released any additional details since Chisholm was originally diagnosed with contusions.

Frazier went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Angels.

Frazier hit the first of the Royals' four solo shots to spark the comeback win. He continues to see a starting role between second base, designated hitter and the corner outfield, and he's earned a strong share of playing time by going 12-for-38 (.316) over his last 11 games. Frazier is up to a .270/.322/.373 slash line with six homers, 38 RBI, 37 runs scored and eight stolen bases over 116 games between the Royals and the Pirates this season.

Chisholm exited Thursday's game against the Astros with contusions to both of his knees, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.

Chisholm appeared to suffer an injury on a tag play at second base in the third inning, though at the time it didn't seem as though both legs were affected. The positive news is that he appears to have avoided serious injury, but Chisholm could undergo further imaging to determine the full degree of the injury.

Chisholm exited Thursday's game against the Astros with an apparent leg injury, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

Chisholm was slid into by Jose Altuve as he applied the tag on a stolen base attempt in the third inning. Chisholm jogged off the field with a limp but took his at-bat in the top of the fourth inning before departing. The 27-year-old appeared to be favoring his knee or ankle, but more details should emerge after the game or at some point Friday.

Urias will start at second base and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Yankees.

Urias will pick up his fourth straight start at the keystone after going 3-for-10 with a home run, a double, a walk and two RBI over the previous three contests. With Jose Altuve seeing most of his playing time of late at designated hitter or in left field, Urias looks like he could be a stable part of the lineup at second base while he's swinging a hot bat. Urias could eventually face competition for reps at second from Mauricio Dubon, who has been playing more in center field of late but may become more of a factor in the infield once Jake Meyers (calf) returns from the injured list.

Dubon is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees.

Dubon will hit the bench for the second time in four games and could be transitioning back into more of a part-time role after he had been a near-everyday player for Houston since about mid-May. The last two of his starts have come in center field, but Jake Meyers (calf) will likely see the bulk of the opportunities at that position once he returns from the injured list, perhaps as soon as this weekend.

Clemens will take a seat against a right-handed starter (Yoendrys Gomez) for the second time in five games, allowing Edouard Julien to receive a turn at first base. Dating back to the time Julien was called up from Triple-A St. Paul on Aug. 1, both players have posted a sub-.600 OPS, so the two could operate in a timeshare until one clearly separates himself from the other from a performance standpoint.

Young is not in the Mariners' starting lineup against the Rays on Wednesday.

Young will be on the bench for beginning of Wednesday's game while Jorge Polanco shifts to the keystone, Cal Raleigh serves as the designated hitter and Mitch Garver gets the start behind home plate. Young struggled at the plate in August and has gone 1-for-25 over his last 10 games, which has lowered his season OPS to .639 across 240 plate appearances.

Estrada (quadriceps) was activated from the 7-day injured list at Double-A Chesapeake on Tuesday.

He missed a little under two weeks with a quad injury and went 2-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in his first game back. Estrada, who was promoted from High-A Aberdeen to Chesapeake on July 29, is slashing .310/.372/.563 with five home runs, four steals and a 14.1 percent strikeout rate in 19 games for the Baysox. The 20-year-old switch hitter has split time between second base and left field since getting to Double-A.
