Enrique Hernandez SS | LAD
Red Sox's Enrique Hernandez: Returning to action
Hernandez (hamstring) will be activated from the injured list prior to Tuesday's game against Toronto, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.
Hernandez hit .239/.298/.425 in 30 games before straining his hamstring in early May. He appeared in a pair of rehab games over the weekend and looked ready to go, hitting two homers. The veteran utilityman had a near-everyday role prior to the injury, spending most of his time in center field, so he should reclaim that spot going forward, pushing Alex Verdugo back to left.

Danny Mendick 3B | CHW
White Sox's Danny Mendick: Swats second homer
Mendick went 1-for-4 with a walk, a home run and five RBI in Monday's 16-4 rout of the Twins.
His fifth-inning grand slam off Derek Law got the White Sox to double-digit runs on the night. Mendick was just 2-for-14 in May coming into Monday, although one of the knocks was his other homer of the year, but his versatility should continue to get him semi-regular playing time as the team tries to piece together a roster currently missing four key contributors.

Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT
Rays' Brandon Lowe: Leaves yard in win
Lowe went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in a win over the Mets on Sunday.
Lowe's 375-foot laser to right in the sixth inning answered Patrick Mazeika's own solo shot in the visitor's half of the frame and restored the Rays' lead to four runs. Lowe is still slashing an unacceptable .195/.305/.391 for the season, but he's now hit in four straight games, also rapping out a double in addition to Sunday's homer and drawing three walks over that span.

Jonathan Arauz 3B | LAD
Red Sox's Jonathan Arauz: Demoted to minors
The Red Sox optioned Arauz to Triple-A Worcester on Monday.
Boston will wait until Tuesday to announce a corresponding roster move, but Arauz's demotion likely signals that Enrique Hernandez (hamstring) will be reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's series opener versus the Blue Jays. Arauz appeared in four games during his week-long stint with the big club, going 2-for-8 with a double, two walks, two runs and an RBI.

Red Sox's Enrique Hernandez: Leaves yard twice for WooSox
Hernandez (hamstring) went 2-for-4 with two home runs and five RBI for Triple-A Worcester on Sunday.
Hernandez played two games for the WooSox over the weekend and could be activated off the injured list in time for Tuesday series-opener on the road against the Blue Jays, who trail the Red Sox by 1.5 games in the AL East.

Marcus Semien 2B | NYM
Blue Jays' Marcus Semien: Swats leadoff home run
Semien went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, three RBI and two runs in Sunday's 10-8 win over the Phillies.
Semien went hitless with three strikeouts in seven at-bats across the first two games of the series, but he flashed his power with three extra-base hits Sunday. The 30-year-old is now hitting .269 with nine home runs, 23 RBI, 23 runs and seven stolen bases this year.

Harold Castro 2B | KC
Tigers' Harold Castro: Scores run Sunday
Castro went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's loss against the Cubs.
Castro has hit safely in five of his last six games while recording two or more knocks in four of those appearances. He's hitting .354 with four RBI and two runs scored across 31 at-bats this month.

Amed Rosario 3B | NYY
Indians' Amed Rosario: Not starting Sunday
Rosario is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mariners.
Rosario started the last four games but will head to the bench Sunday in Seattle. Andres Gimenez will take over at shortstop in the series finale for Cleveland.

Nicky Lopez 3B | CHC
Royals' Nicky Lopez: Notches steal in win
Lopez went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 5-1 win over the White Sox.
The infielder has picked up two stolen bases in his last three games. He's up to four steals in 128 plate appearances overall. Lopez sports a .234/.331/.308 slash line while often hitting at the bottom of Kansas City's order. He has yet to hit a home run, but he's picked up three triples, two doubles, seven RBI and 19 runs in 38 games as the near-everyday shortstop.
