Lopez is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Diamondbacks.

Lopez will sit Sunday after starting in the first two games of the series, going 2-for-7 with two RBI. Vidal Brujan will start at second base and bat eighth against Arizona southpaw Blake Walston.

Gorman went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and two runs scored in Saturday's 7-6 win over the Cubs.

Gorman's game is more power than speed, but he's done a little of both with three home runs and two steals over his last six contests. Those two thefts account for his season total. The second baseman is slashing .215/.308/.423 with eight homers, 21 RBI, 20 runs scored and seven doubles over 169 plate appearances on the year. He's not making a lot of contact; his 35.5 percent strikeout rate is an anchor on the rest of his stat line.

Turang went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and a stolen base Saturday in Boston.

His third home run of the season came in the eighth inning off reliever Zack Kelly. Turang had drawn a walk and notched his 19th stolen base of the season earlier in the contest. After going 26-for-30 in stolen base attempts as a rookie, Turang is now a perfect 19-for-19 in 2024. Only Elly De La Cruz has more this season with 31.

Garcia went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Friday's win over the Mariners.

With the Nationals trailing 1-0, Garcia gave MacKenzie Gore all the support he would need by driving a George Kirby slider over the fence in left-center field. It was the second baseman's second long ball in the last four games and his fifth of the season. After a 3-for-33 swoon in the middle of May, Garcia could be heating up again, as he's gone 5-for-16 with six RBI in those last four contests.

Triolo went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run Friday against Atlanta.

Triolo has struggled at the plate for much of the season, though Friday's long ball was his second in his last seven games. He's also hit .280 with four runs scored and six RBI in that span. So long as Ke'Bryan Hayes (back) is sidelined, Triolo should remain the primary starter at third base for Pittsburgh.

Gonzales went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, four RBI and a run scored Friday against Atlanta.

Gonzales has swung the bat well since being recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis, and he is currently in the midst of a five-game hitting streak. In that span, he's gone 8-for-20 with seven RBI and three runs scored. He's been locked into the fifth spot in the order and should be the Pirates' everyday second baseman for the foreseeable future.

India went 3-for-3 with a grand slam, a double and a walk in Friday's win over the Dodgers.

India's fifth-inning grand slam capped off a six-run frame and proved to be the deciding factor in the victory. The 27-year-old was 8-for-46 (.174) with no extra-base hits over his previous 14 contests before Friday's big performance. He has just eight extra-base hits (three home runs) with a .653 OPS through 44 games this season.

Atlanta signed Wendle to a one-year contract Friday.

Wendle was released by the Mets earlier this week after slashing just .222/.243/.250 in 37 plate appearances, but he has quickly caught on with their division rivals. The utility infielder made the All-Star team with the Rays in 2021 but has produced just a .604 OPS in three seasons since then. Wendle will provide depth all over the infield in Atlanta.

Albies went 1-for-3 with a walk, one RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's 3-0 win over the Cubs.

Albies is hitting well, going 11-for-40 (.275) over his last 10 games, though he has just one extra-base hit, a double, in that span. The second baseman is slashing .269/.330/.388 with three home runs, three steals, 23 RBI, 22 runs scored and 10 doubles over 39 contests on the year. He's locked into a starting role, but the lack of counting stats is a small concern for a player that has hit 20-plus homers four times in the last six years.

Rodgers is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Athletics.

Rodgers will be joined on the bench by Elias Diaz, Charlie Blackmon and Kris Bryant as the Rockies rest four key regulars for the day game after a night game. Alan Trejo will step in at second base in place of Rodgers, who had slashed .280/.314/.317 with zero home runs and his first career stolen base while starting in each of the Rockies' previous 20 games.
