Kim went 3-for-5 with two RBI in Tuesday's loss against Pittsburgh.

Kim's been productive recently, going 12-for-32 (.375) with three home runs, nine RBI and a 1.101 OPS over his last eight contests. Overall, he's slashing .258/.348/.400 with eight homers, 35 runs scored, 28 RBI and a career-best 13 stolen bases through 270 plate appearances this season while starting nearly every day at second base.

Garcia went 2-for-5 with two RBI and one stolen base in Tuesday's 7-4 extra-innings win over the Mariners.

This was Garcia's third straight multi-hit game, a stretch that follows his 0-for-11 skid across three contests. The second baseman has hit well in June, batting .303 (27-for-89) over 23 contests with six extra-base hits. For the season, he's slashing .280/.315/.394 with five home runs, four steals, 36 RBI and 35 runs scored through 305 plate appearances as a near-everyday presence in the Nationals' lineup.

Estrada went 2-for-4 with a two-run double, a stolen base and a run in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Blue Jays.

Estrada scored the opening run Tuesday, singling off Kevin Gausman in the fifth inning before swiping second base and crossing the plate on a Patrick Bailey double. Estrada would later extend the lead to 3-0 in the ninth with a two-run double off Erik Swanson. The 27-year-old Estrada had been slumping coming into the game, going just 2-for-24 (.083) in his previous six contests. He's now slashing .280/.333/.454 with nine homers, 45 runs scored and 30 RBI through 294 plate appearances. Estrada also improved to 18-for-21 in stolen base attempts, putting him three shy of the career-high 21 he recorded last season.

Marte went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Tuesday's 8-4 win over the Rays.

Marte's power swing remained in action Tuesday, as he clobbered his fifth homer in his last seven games. He's up to 15 long balls on the year, his most since a 32-homer campaign in 2019. The second baseman has also been hitting well generally of late with at least one knock in 10 of his last 11 games. Marte is up to a .295/.374/.526 slash line with 43 RBI, 60 runs scored, 13 doubles, four triples and six stolen bases through 74 contests. His place in the top half of a strong lineup bodes well for his continued production as long he keeps hitting well.

Gonzales went 2-for-4 with a triple, a home run, two RBI and two total runs in Tuesday's 9-4 victory over the Padres.

Gonzales nearly homered in the second inning, settling for a triple off the top of the wall for his first major-league hit. He'd manage to clear the fence in the seventh, crushing a 442-foot homer off Adrian Morejon for his first home run. The 24-year-old Gonzales is now 2-for-12 with an .814 OPS through four big-league games. After slashing .257/.370/.450 in Triple-A, Gonzales should continue to see regular reps as Pittsburgh's starting second baseman.

Vargas is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rockies, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Vargas has really struggled as of late, and the Dodgers will go with Mookie Betts at second base against Colorado on Tuesday with Max Muncy (hamstring) coming off the injured list to play third. There have been flashes of brilliance from Vargas in his rookie season, but he's in danger of losing more playing time if the lack of offensive production persists.

Castro isn't in the Rockies' lineup Tuesday against the Dodgers, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

With Clayton Kershaw set to take the mound for Los Angeles, the left-handed bat of Castro will remain in the dugout to begin Tuesday's game. Coco Montes will start at second base and bat eighth.

The Giants optioned Diaz to Triple-A Sacramento on Monday.

The demotion of Diaz opens up a spot on the 26-man active roster for Wilmer Flores (foot), who was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday in a corresponding move. During his brief stay with San Francisco, Diaz appeared in two games and went 0-for-8 with four strikeouts.

Gorman isn't in the Cardinals' lineup Tuesday against Houston.

Gorman is 3-for-7 with an RBI and a run scored across his last two contests, yet he'll sit for the third time in five games Tuesday. Gorman's absence will move Willson Contreras into the DH spot, allowing Andrew Knizner to start behind the plate and bat ninth.

Kim went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two walks Sunday in a loss to Washington.

Kim batted out of the leadoff spot for the fourth straight game and was the only Padre to reach base three times. He also hit the team's only homer, going deep to left field in the seventh inning. Kim has been very productive of late, slashing .368/.429/.632 with three homers, seven RBI, nine runs and two steals over 11 games since June 15.
