Thairo Estrada 2B | SF
Giants' Thairo Estrada: Racks up three hits in win
Estrada went 3-for-6 with a double, one RBI and one run scored in Wednesday's 9-3 win over the Diamondbacks.
Estrada missed three games with a jammed thumb to begin June, but he's been strong at the plate on both sides of that minor injury. This was his fourth multi-hit effort in his last six games. The second baseman is up to a .250/.282/.417 slash line with eight home runs, one stolen base, 32 RBI and 33 runs scored over 59 contests this season. The Giants' lineup has been in flux for much of the year due to numerous injuries, but Estrada's been a near-constant presence even amid his early struggles.

Nick Gonzales 2B | PIT
Pirates' Nick Gonzales: Drives in four
Gonzales went 2-for-3 with a two-RBI double, a sacrifice fly and an RBI single during Wednesday's 10-6 win over the Dodgers.
Despite the Pirates putting up a 10-spot, Gonzales' two-RBI double in the second inning was Pittsburgh's lone extra-base hit on the day. His four RBI tied his career high, which was set May 24 against Atlanta. Before that, the 25-year-old hadn't generated more than two RBI in a game in his career. Wednesday's contest added to Gonzales' breakout campaign, as he's slashing .310/.355/.500 with 20 RBI, 12 runs and two stolen bases in 94 plate appearances.

Jonathan India 2B | CIN
Reds' Jonathan India: Launches grand slam
India went 1-for-3 with a grand slam, a walk and five total RBI in a 12-7 win over the Rockies.
India cut the Reds' deficit to 7-6 with a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning before breaking the game open with a grand slam off Angel Chivilli in the ninth, extending the lead to 12-7. After a slow start, India's started to turn things around at the plate -- he has at least one hit in nine of his last 12 games, going 14-for-36 (.389) with 13 RBI in that span. Overall, the 27-year-old second baseman is slashing .242/.358/.347 with four homers, 24 RBI, 24 runs scored and five stolen bases through 55 games this season.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Exits starting nine
Marte is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Giants.
Marte had started each of the previous 18 contests for the Diamondbacks but will receive some rest during Wednesday's afternoon tilt. Blaze Alexander will cover second base for Marte.

Jeff McNeil 2B | NYM
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Hitting bench against lefty again
McNeil is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
The Mets have opposed left-handed starting pitchers in three straight games, and the lefty-hitting McNeil has been on the bench for each of those contests. McNeil hasn't been a strict platoon player for much of his tenure with the Mets, but manager Carlos Mendoza has chosen to limit the 32-year-old's exposure to southpaws while he's mustered a modest .275 wOBA over 69 plate appearances against lefties on the season. McNeil hasn't fared much better against right-handed pitching either (.281 wOBA in 155 plate appearances), but the Mets haven't offered any indication that he's at risk of losing out on starts in those matchups.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: On base four times in win
Marte went 3-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Giants.
Marte notched three hits for the second time over his last three games and for the seventh time this season. He now has at least a hit in five of his last six games and boasts a 4:3 BB:K over that span as well. For the year, the 30-year-old is slashing .278/.337/.502 with 12 homers, 32 RBI, 40 runs and a 21:51 BB:K in 270 plate appearances.

Nolan Gorman 2B | STL
Cardinals' Nolan Gorman: Keeps surging Tuesday
Gorman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 8-5 loss to the Astros.
Gorman has upped the power over the last week with six homers and 10 RBI over his last seven contests. That's still come with a swing-and-miss risk, as he's struck out 10 times in that span, but that's of little concern when he's making the most of whatever contact he gets. The second baseman is up to 14 homers, 31 RBI, 28 runs scored, two stolen bases, eight doubles and a .235/.320/.508 slash line through 206 plate appearances.

Ozzie Albies 2B | ATL
Braves' Ozzie Albies: Ends power drought
Albies went 2-for-3 with a double, a three-run home run and an additional run during Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Red Sox.
Albies went yard for the first time in 23 games, plating Austin Riley and Marcell Ozuna in the sixth inning on a three-run shot off Kutter Crawford. He's been swinging a hot bat as of late, batting .324 with five doubles, six RBI and five runs scored in his last 10 games. After slugging a career-high 33 homers last season, Albies has just four round trippers in 50 games in 2024, and his slugging percentage has dropped from .513 to .410.

Thairo Estrada 2B | SF
Giants' Thairo Estrada: Returning to action Tuesday
Estrada (thumb) is starting at second base and batting second Tuesday against the Diamondbacks.
Estrada sat out the previous three games with a jammed thumb but is ready to take the field Tuesday in Arizona. The 28-year-old finished May on a modest four-game hit streak and went 7-for-17 with a double, an RBI and a run during that span.

Brice Turang 2B | MIL
Brewers' Brice Turang: Idle against lefty
Turang is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Phillies.
Turang will dodge a matchup with southpaw Cristopher Sanchez on Tuesday, joining fellow lefties Jake Bauers and Sal Frelick on the bench. Andruw Monasterio will play second and bat ninth.
