Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Hits first homer
Rojas went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and another run scored in Friday's win over the Dodgers.
Rojas drilled his first major-league home run with a two-run shot off Casey Sadler in the seventh inning to tie the game at 4-4. Over 14 games, Rojas is batting .205/.295/.308 and should continue to see playing time against right-handed pitchers.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Sitting as precaution
Marte is out of Friday's lineup as a precaution due to his right hamstring issue, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.
Marte was pulled from Thursday's game after feeling something around the area where he experienced the hamstring cramp earlier in the week, and manager Torey Lovullo isn't taking any chances. It's unclear if the 25-year-old will be available off the bench, but he should be considered day-to-day for now.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Out of Friday's lineup
Marte is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Dodgers.
Marte made a late exit Thursday once Arizona had a big lead, but there's been no official indication that he's nursing an injury. The 25-year-old was dealing with a right hamstring cramp earlier in the week but had remained in the starting nine until Friday. Jarrod Dyson receives the start in center field while Adam Jones takes over in right.

Mauricio Dubon 2B | ATL
Giants' Mauricio Dubon: Picks up hit in SF debut
Dubon started at the keystone and went 1-for-3 before exiting the game as part of a double switch in Thursday's 5-3 loss to San Diego.
Dubon's starting debut in San Francisco was put on hold after his promotion Tuesday (and a rare off day Wednesday), but he was given a start against a righty Thursday. The 25-year-old could take over regular duties at second base following the mildly surprising release of Scooter Gennett earlier this week. Dubon hit .308 with 20 homers and 10 steals over 123 Triple-A games between the Milwaukee and San Francisco systems this season, so there is certainly some fantasy appeal here if he is given everyday playing time down the stretch.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Removed from game late
Marte, who had been dealing with a hamstring injury, was replaced in center field to start the seventh inning during Thursday's win over the Dodgers.
There's nothing to indicate Marte was removed due to an aggravation of the hamstring strain, so his removal may be attributed to an abundance of caution. The Diamondbacks were leading 10-4 at the time, and it's logical to assume manager Torey Lovullo did not want to push Marte.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Pirates' Adam Frazier: Four-hit day Thursday
Frazier went 4-for-5 with a pair of RBI and a run scored in the Pirates' 11-8 win over the Rockies on Thursday.
Frazier joined Kevin Newman as one of two Pirates to log four-hit games on an explosive day for the Pittsburgh offense at Coors Field, and he's now hit safely in eight of his last nine games. The mini-hot streak boosts the 27-year-old's slash line up to .272/.331/.339 on the season over 496 plate appearances.

Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Takes seat vs. lefty
Rojas is not in the lineup Thursday against the Dodgers.
As per usual, Rojas will take a seat on the bench with a southpaw (Hyun-Jin Ryu) toeing the rubber for the opposition. Adam Jones is starting in right field and hitting sixth in his place.

Amed Rosario SS | NYY
Mets' Amed Rosario: Back at leadoff
Rosario is starting at shortstop and hitting leadoff Thursday against the Cubs.
Rosario is back atop the order for Thursday's series finale after going 2-for-5 with an RBI from the seven-hole Wednesday. The shortstop has been dialed in at the dish in August, slashing .345/.368/.445 with eight extra-base hits (six doubles, one triple and one home run) and three stolen bases in 24 games.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Won't miss start
Marte (hamstring) is starting in center field and hitting leadoff Thursday against the Dodgers.
Marte exited Tuesday's game with a right hamstring cramp, but he's good to go for Thursday's series opener after a scheduled off day Wednesday. The 25-year-old is in the midst of a 10-game hitting streak -- during which he's slashing .415/.467/.805 with four home runs, nine RBI and a steal -- and will look to keep things rolling against lefty Hyun-Jin Ryu on Thursday.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Clubs 16th homer
McNeil went 3-for-5 with a double and a two-run homer Wednesday against the Cubs.
McNeil took Kyle Hendricks deep in the fifth inning for his 15th homer of the season. It was his first notable contribution since being activated from the injured list Saturday. Still, he should have plenty of chances to produce down the stretch, as he has started regularly and either led off or batted second since returning to the field. Overall, he's slashing .333/.400/.535 across 457 plate appearances for the season.
