  • Owen Miller 2B | CHC

Padres' Owen Miller: Selected for Arizona Fall League

Miller will play for Peoria in the Arizona Fall League, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Miller's selection will enable him to extend his season among many of baseball's top prospects. The 22-year-old has hit .285 with 12 homers and 64 RBI in 125 games with Double-A Amarillo this season.

  • Amed Rosario SS | NYY

Mets' Amed Rosario: Drops to seventh

Rosario is starting at shortstop and hitting seventh Wednesday against the Cubs, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.

The Mets are switching their order up in an attempt to snap a four-game losing streak. Rosario is 4-for-19 (.211) with zero extra-base hits and five strikeouts during that stretch, so he'll slide to seventh in the order while Jeff McNeil gets a turn atop the order.

  • Isan Diaz 2B | DET

Marlins' Isan Diaz: Knocks in two

Diaz went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and two RBI on Tuesday against the Reds.

Diaz came through with a two-RBI double in the first inning, but was thrown out at third to end the frame. While his hits have been few and far between -- he has just 13 in 74 at-bats to begin his career -- Diaz has five RBI in his last five contests. His .176 average leaves plenty to be desired, but Diaz has shown the ability to work a free pass and is currently maintaining a 10.6 percent walk rate through 85 major-league plate appearances.

  • Ketel Marte 2B | ARI

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Exits with hamstring cramp

Marte was removed from Tuesday's game at San Francisco with a right hamstring cramp.

Marte hit a solo homer during the fifth inning and had trouble making it around the bases, but the announcement that he's only dealing with a hamstring cramp is welcome news. The 25-year-old will have Wednesday's scheduled off day to aid in his recovery before potentially missing any additional contests.

  • Ketel Marte 2B | ARI

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Suffers injury on homer

Marte exited Tuesday's game against the Giants after limping around the bases on a solo home run, Richard Morin of The Arizona Republic reports.

Marte crushed a solo homer 437 feet to right-center field during the fifth inning, but he struggled to make it around the bases and subsequently left the contest. The specifics of the injury remain unclear, but the 25-year-old will have Wednesday's scheduled off day to recover before potentially missing additional time.

  • Mauricio Dubon 2B | ATL

Giants' Mauricio Dubon: Earns promotion to majors

Dubon will be recalled from Triple-A Sacramento ahead of Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks, Robert Murray of The Athletic reports.

Dubon has been hitting the ball well at Triple-A, slashing .323/.391/.485 with four homers and nine RBI over 23 contests. He'll likely see time in the middle infield, at least against left-handed pitching.

  • Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Belts solo homer

Hernandez went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a pair of walks in Monday's loss to San Diego.

Hernandez gave the Dodgers a short-lived lead in the sixth inning with a 425-foot blast to left field. The long ball was his first since being activated from the injured list Aug. 20, though he has batted .333 (6-for-18) with two doubles since his return. Overall, Hernandez is slashing .243/.316/.442 with 17 homers and 55 RBI this season.

  • Gavin Lux SS | TB

Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Could be called up in September

Lux could be added to the Dodgers' active roster in September, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

Previous reports indicated that the organization was considering bringing up Lux in a "ride-along" role in which he would participate in team activities but not be eligible to play in games. That stance may be changing, however, with the 21-year-old continuing to rake at the Triple-A level, posting a .407/.493/.747 slash line with 12 homers and 38 RBI in 44 games with Oklahoma City. Although the recent returns of Chris Taylor and Kike Hernandez from the injured list would seem to make even fewer at-bats available for Lux, the positional flexibility of both major-league veterans -- and the Dodgers' massive lead in their division -- could allow the team to work their top prospect into the lineup down the stretch.

  • Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Sitting out series finale

Hernandez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

Since returning from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Hernandez had started in four of the Dodgers' last five games, going 5-for-15 with two doubles and two RBI. He'll cede his spot in the lineup for the series finale to Matt Beaty, who draws a start at first base.

  • Josh Rojas 3B | CHW

Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Fills in for injured Peralta

Rojas started in left field and went 0-for-3 in Saturday's 4-0 loss to the Brewers.

The Diamondbacks placed David Peralta (shoulder) on the injured list Saturday, so Rojas took over in left field against Milwaukee right-hander Chase Anderson. After an initial burst of activity upon his addition to Arizona's roster, Rojas is mired in a 2-for-21 (.095) slide, dropping his average to .200 over 11 games. He and the recently called up Tim Locastro should platoon in left field going forward.
