Brendan Rodgers 2B | BOS
Rockies' Brendan Rodgers: Takes seat Sunday
Rodgers is not in the lineup for Sunday's game at Philadelphia, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Rodgers was relatively quiet during his first two games in the majors as he went 1-for-8 with four strikeouts and one RBI. Ryan McMahon will start at second base and bat seventh in the series finale.

Amed Rosario SS | NYY
Mets' Amed Rosario: On bench Sunday
Rosario is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.
Rosario started the last nine games but will take a seat after slashing .229/.289/.343 in that span. Adeiny Hechavarria will start at shortstop for the series finale as Rosario is out of the lineup for only the fourth time this season.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Returns to lineup
McNeil (abdomen) is back in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Marlins.
After missing one start due to abdominal tightness, McNeil will slot back in atop the order against right-hander Pablo Lopez. He has now led off in each of his last 19 starts -- including against four left-handers in that span. McNeil has an OPS over .900 against both lefties and righties this season, and he's striking out just 8.8 percent of the time overall (171 plate appearances).

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Leads team in RBI
Marte went 2-for-4 with a double and knocked in a run in Friday's 7-0 win over the Giants.
Marte, who batted fifth Friday, leads the Diamondbacks with 31 RBI. He's been all over the batting order but to better take advantage of his .571 slugging with runners in scoring position, the Diamondbacks may want to bat him fifth or sixth in the order. In that alignment, he can take advantage of Arizona's best on-base guys placed in the upper half of the order. Nineteen of Marte's 31 RBI have come in the 23 games he's batted fifth or sixth.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Pirates' Adam Frazier: Gets rare night off
Frazier won't start Friday's game against San Diego.
Frazier has hit safely in eight of his last 10 games, though he's slashing just .231/.250/.385 over that stretch. Kevin Newman will draw the start at second base and hit leadoff in Frazier's absence.

Brendan Rodgers 2B | BOS
Rockies' Brendan Rodgers: Batting seventh in debut
Rodgers was officially called up from Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday, and will start at second base and bat seventh versus the Phillies, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
There was some thought Rodgers was being called up due to Trevor Story (knee) exiting Wednesday's game, but Story is starting at shortstop Friday while Rodgers remains at second base. The 22-year-old is the organization's top prospect and had an impressive start to the season with the Isotopes, slashing .356/.421/.644 with nine home runs in 35 games.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Not in Friday's lineup
McNeil (abdomen) is out of the lineup for Friday's series opener at Miami, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
McNeil suffered the injury Thursday against the Nationals, so it's not a major surprise to see him held out of the starting nine one day later. The 26-year-old downplayed the injury after leaving the game, indicating he should be fine within a couple days. Brandon Nimmo, Juan Lagares and Carlos Gomez will start from left to right in the outfield for the Mets on Friday. According to Mike Puma of the New York Post, McNeil is available to pinch hit and may return to the lineup Saturday.

Gavin Lux SS | TB
Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Lighting up Double-A
Lux is slashing .298/.362/.562 over 121 at-bats for Double-A Tulsa.
Lux just continues to rake in Double-A as his .924 OPS is currently higher than the .916 mark he posted in his fantastic campaign in split time between High-A Rancho Cucamonga and Tulsa last season. He's also provided excellent power, having launched eight home runs after hitting 15 last year. While his chances of getting a callup to the Dodgers this season are slim, it seems like a matter of time before the club will give him a run with Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Not concerned about injury
McNeil (abdomen) said he expects to be fine this weekend, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports. "It's nothing I'm worried about," McNeil said.
McNeil said he suffered the injury running to first base in the third inning of Thursday's loss to the Nationals. The utility man downplayed the severity of the issue, however, noting that he deals with this sort of abdominal pain from time to time and it usually takes a day or two before he's fine. With Michael Conforto (concussion) out, Keon Broxton and Juan Lagares could both draw starts in the outfield should McNeil be forced to miss any time.
