  • Diamondbacks' Brandon Drury: In Tuesday's lineup

Drury is in the lineup Tuesday against the Mets.

After Yasmany Tomas was scratched from the lineup, Drury got the nod to start in right field. Drury will be batting fifth as Arizona takes on Steven Matz and the Mets.

  • Dilson Herrera 2B | CIN

Reds' Dilson Herrera: Sitting out at Triple-A with general soreness

Herrera has sat out the last few games for Triple-A Louisville due to general soreness, Zach Buchanan from the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Herrera and Jose Peraza were both sent down after the trade deadline ostensibly to play together up the middle, so this is a setback. He was available to pinch-run Sunday night.

  • Rockies' Brendan Rodgers: Holding steady as teenager at Low-A

Rodgers, 19, is batting .277/.341/.464 with 14 home runs, 55 RBI and four steals through 88 games for Low-A Asheville.

Rodgers, who will turn 20 years old next week, has more than held his own in his first crack at full-season ball. He only just appears to be scratching the surface of his potential, but the power in his bat is already evident. He also has two steals in his last five contests, and the added element of speed would only further boost his future fantasy outlook.

  • Giants' Kelby Tomlinson: Hitting well for Triple-A Sacramento

Tomlinson is batting .405 (15-for-37) with eight runs and two stolen bases over his last 10 games with Triple-A Sacramento.

Tomlinson was sent to the minors for a rehab assignment after injuring his thumb in July, but with the Giants opting to only have a four-man bench, he has stayed in the minors ever since. Two of the team's four bench bats at the major league level are infielders, so it is unlikely that Tomlinson will be called up to serve in a backup infield role. However, Tomlinson has played six games in the outfield this season, making him a possible option to be called up if the Giants opt to go with a more traditional five-man bench.

  • Padres' Yangervis Solarte: Drives in three, scores four in victory over Brewers on Wednesday

Solarte went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer, three RBI and four runs in a 12-3 victory over the Brewers on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old was 5-for-14 (.357) with five RBI and five runs in the series versus Milwaukee. He is slashing .294/.356/.508 with 11 homers, 45 RBI and 35 runs in 238 at-bats this season.

  • Rockies' Cristhian Adames: Could see uptick in playing time

Adames could see an uptick in playing time with Trevor Story (thumb) likely out for the year.

Adames has acted as one of the main reserve infielders for Colorado all season, so it's not out of the realm of possibility for the switch-hitter to garner some extra starts as the season rolls along. That being said, his .186 batting average certainly doesn't help his cause in attaining this newly-opened role, which could lead the Rockies to instead rely more upon Daniel Descalso and his .324 average, as was the case Tuesday night. Adames will likely remain in consideration for starts given his highly-touted defense, but unless his bat catches up with his glove, it'll be tough for manager Walt Weiss to pencil the 25-year-old into the lineup with regularity.

  • Gordon Beckham 2B | SEA

Braves' Gordon Beckham: Leading off Wednesday

Beckham will lead off and play second base for the Braves on Wednesday.

Beckham and the Braves will face left-hander Jeff Locke and the Pirates. On the season, Beckham is hitting .245/.344/.434 in 53 at-bats versus left-handed pitching. Beckham could be a nice value hitting in front of Adonis Garcia, Freddie Freeman and Matt Kemp on Wednesday.

  • Adam Frazier 2B | LAA

Pirates' Adam Frazier: Leads Pirates offense Tuesday

Frazier paved the way for the Pirates on Tuesday, going 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, and a steal in a 5-3 win over the Braves.

Frazier has performed quite well in his limited 2016 usage, raising his average to .367 in 49 at-bats after the two-hit night. Frazier's four steals in 23 appearances seem indicative of some speed, although he was caught stealing 38 times in 85 tries over his minor league career, not exactly an impressive success rate. Frazier is just 24 years old and in his rookie season, and may see some more playing time given how well he's performed when given the chance for the Pirates.

  • Isan Diaz 2B | DET

Brewers' Isan Diaz: Swinging hot bat at High-A

Diaz, 20, is batting .361 with two home runs, seven RBI and one steal in his last 10 games for Low-A Wisconsin.

Diaz continues to impress with the bat, slashing .270/.350/.469 with 15 home runs, 63 RBI and 10 steals through 104 games. He will have to work on cutting down on his strikeouts, though; Diaz has fanned 111 times in those 104 contests. Nevertheless, he has been among the fastest risers in the minors in 2016.

  • Diamondbacks' Brandon Drury: Not in lineup Tuesday

Drury is not in the starting lineup for the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

The Diamondbacks outfield consists of Yasmany Tomas in left, Chris Owings in center and David Peralta in right. Assuming all four of these players stay healthy the rest of the season, Drury looks like he will be the odd man out the majority of the time. The 23-year-old is hitting .207 in his last 29 at-bats.
