Bryson Stott 2B | PHI
Phillies' Bryson Stott: Pops first MLB homer
Stott went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in Friday's 10-0 win over the Angels.
The rookie shortstop took Chase Silseth deep in the second inning, giving the Phillies an early 4-0 lead in the rout. In back-to-back games Stott has produced his first career homer and first career steal, but he's still only slashing .160/.209/.222 through his first 26 MLB games.

Harold Castro 2B | KC
Tigers' Harold Castro: Starting at first
Castro is starting at first base and batting third in Saturday's game against the Yankees.
Spencer Torkelson is getting the day game off, so Castro will slide into the hole at first base. The versatile 28-year-old has played well this season with a .303/.320/.505 slash line across 32 games, so the Tigers will likely try to keep fitting him into the lineup whenever they can.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Ends HR drought
Marte went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 8-6 win over Pittsburgh.
Marte's two-run shot in the fifth inning extended his hitting streak to 15 games and ended a stretch of 20 contests without a homer. Since swatting 32 home runs in 2019, Marte's power has been held in check by missed time due to injury. He's been healthy thus far but has just three home runs over 49 games, though he's also added 17 doubles this year.

Thairo Estrada 2B | BAL
Giants' Thairo Estrada: Homers in big win
Estrada went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 15-6 win over the Marlins.
Estrada's biggest contribution Friday was a two-run homer in the fifth inning. The second baseman's playing time has been slipping, but late scratches Thursday and Friday have allowed him to stay in the lineup. He's still slashing a solid .277/.316/.399 with three homers, 22 RBI, 29 runs scored and six stolen bases through 187 plate appearances. Estrada has multiple hits in three of his last five contests.

Marcus Semien 2B | NYM
Rangers' Marcus Semien: Notches steal in loss
Semien went 0-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Mariners.
Semien reached on an error, stole second scored on a Corey Seager double in the sixth inning. Four of Semien's seven steals this season have come in his last 10 games. He's added a paltry .190/.253/.275 slash line with two home runs, 18 RBI, 23 runs scored, nine doubles and a triple in 221 plate appearances this season. The infielder had batted second in each of the last two games, but with Josh Smith (shoulder) exiting Friday's game early, Semien could be an option to return to the leadoff spot Saturday.

Luis Urias 2B | ATH
Brewers' Luis Urias: Pulled with swollen thumb
Urias' thumb is swollen from when he was jammed during an at-bat and it was negatively affecting his ability to grip the ball in the field, which is why he was removed from Friday's game against the Padres, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Manager Craig Counsell said Urias has been able to deal with the issue when hitting, so he should be able to rejoin the lineup once he is able to grip the ball in the field. He is hitting .154 with two home runs over his last 10 games.

Owen Miller 2B | CHC
Guardians' Owen Miller: Drives in four runs
Miller went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and four RBI in Friday's 6-3 win over the Orioles.
Miller put Cleveland on the board with a two-run double in the first inning before knocking a two-run single in the third. Friday's performance was his fourth three-hit effort of the year and his first since April 13. The 25-year-old infielder is slashing .284/.337/.459 with 24 RBI and 18 extra-base hits this season.

Luis Urias 2B | ATH
Brewers' Luis Urias: Exits with thumb injury
Urias left Friday's game against the Padres with right thumb discomfort, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Discomfort is a symptom, not a diagnosis, so it's hard to say what exactly Urias' availability will be in the short term. The Brewers are running out of healthy players capable of playing shortstop, as Willy Adames and Mike Brosseau are already on the injured list. Pablo Reyes replaced Urias in this one.

Luis Guillorme 3B | HOU
Mets' Luis Guillorme: Not in Friday's lineup
Guillorme is not in Friday's lineup against the Dodgers.
He had started six straight games, hitting .455 with five walks and two strikeouts, prior to this one. Jeff McNeil is starting at second base while J.D. Davis starts at designated hitter.

Thairo Estrada 2B | BAL
Giants' Thairo Estrada: Joins Friday's lineup
Estrada was added to the lineup for Friday's game against Miami.
For a second consecutive game, Estrada will join the starting nine after he was initially slated to come off the bench. Donovan Walton (undisclosed) was a late scratch, so Estrada will start at the keystone and bat seventh.
