Biggio went 2-for-2 with two walks, two home runs and three RBI in Monday's 10-5 loss to the Angels.

It's the rookie's second two-homer performance over the course of a small five-game hitting streak. Biggio's boosted his slash line to .233/.378/.517 with five long balls and 10 RBI in 19 games since his promotion with a strong 14:21 BB:K, and he's already showing the same power and patience he did in the minors.

Manager AJ Hinch said Monday "could be" Altuve's (hamstring) final minor-league rehab game, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

After going hitless in his first rehab game with Triple-A Round Rock on Friday, Altuve went 1-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's game with the Express. The Astros will reevaluate Altuve after his third rehab game Monday -- his first back-to-back appearance -- and if the second baseman reports no issues, it sounds like he could be activated shortly thereafter. Hinch noted "it's not out of the question" that Altuve plays in another rehab game following Monday.

Rengifo is not in the lineup Monday against the Blue Jays.

With David Fletcher and Tommy La Stella manning second and third base, respectively, Rengifo will retreat to the bench for a second consecutive game as Wilfredo Tovar picks up a start at shortstop. With the Angels getting healthier -- Andrelton Simmons (ankle) is nearing a return -- Rengifo could be heading to a bench role or back to the minors.

Dubon went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI for Triple-A San Antonio in its 8-3 win over Reno on Sunday.

Dubon has submitted four multi-hit performances in a row to lift his season average to .307. The young shortstop has been aided to some extent by a .330 BABIP, but his 13.4 percent strikeout rate and 31.1 percent opposite-field-hit rate support the notion that he possesses a plus hit tool. Dubon should get a look with the big club at some point in 2019, though it may not happen until September unless injuries strike Milwaukee's middle infield.

Torres went 0-for-2 with three walks and three runs Sunday in the Yankees' 10-3 win over the White Sox.

Torres saw his four-game hit streak come to an end but still turned in a productive performance for those who paid up for him in DFS contests thanks to his patient eye at the plate. The 22-year-old slotted in as the Yankees' No. 3 hitter Sunday, but he could be in danger of dropping in the lineup when the newly acquired Edwin Encarnacion (back) and injured outfielders Giancarlo Stanton (shoulder) and Aaron Judge (oblique) are all likely available by the end of the week.

Albies went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and two RBI in Sunday's rout of the Phillies.

It's his sixth multi-hit performance in the last 10 games, a stretch during which Albies is slashing a blistering .410/.489/.821 with five doubles, a triple, three homers, 10 RBI, 11 runs, a steal and a 5:4 BB:K. The whole Atlanta offense seems to be firing on all cylinders at the moment, giving the 22-year-old plenty of opportunities to turn his hits into production even if he continues to hit near the bottom of the lineup.

Marte went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, a walk and three runs scored in Sunday's 15-5 loss to the Nationals.

The switch-hitting Marte homered for the third time in two games, giving him 20 for the season: nine from the left side and 11 from the right. He appears to have unlocked power from the left side. Last season, Marte had a .352 slugging percentage and .652 OPS batting left-handed, but he has increased that to .497 and .824, respectively, in 2019.

The Mets optioned Guillorme to Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday.

Guillorme joined the Mets as the 26th man for Tuesday's doubleheader with the Yankees, logging one plate appearance between the two contests before heading back to Syracuse.

Gimenez (hand/wrist) was reinstated from the 7-day injured list Saturday and went 1-for-4 with a triple and a run scored in his return to the lineup for Double-A Binghamton.

Gimenez missed just under two weeks after suffering the hand injury when he was hit by a pitch. The shortstop was fortunate to avoid any structural damage and looks like he'll be ready to resume his usual everyday role for the Rumble Ponies now that he's off the IL. Widely viewed as one of the Mets' top position prospects, the 20-year-old Gimenez is hitting .232 with two home runs and 10 steals across 205 plate appearances in the Eastern League this season.

Sweeney signed a minor-league contract with the Pirates on Saturday and was assigned to Triple-A Indianapolis.

Sweeney appeared in two games for the Blue Jays in 2018 but wasn't tendered a contract over the winter and attracted limited interest from clubs on the open market. After ultimately settling for an offer from the Kansas City T-Bones of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball, Sweeney performed well enough to pop up on the Pirates' radar. The 28-year-old has primarily played the outfield during his professional career, but his experience at second base, third base and shortstop will make him a versatile bench piece for Indianapolis.
