Altuve left Wednesday's contest against Colorado with right knee discomfort, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Altuve appeared to be running unevenly while heading to second base on a double. The details of the injury should become apparent after the game.

Bostick (appendectomy) was reinstated from the 7-day disabled list at Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday.

Bostick was sidelined for just under a month after requiring the emergency appendectomy in late June. The infielder has since appeared in three games for Indianapolis, collecting four hits over 13 at-bats.

Frazier was called up from Triple-A Indianapolis on Wednesday.

Frazier will provide extra depth as a utility man after spending the past month in the minors. Across 58 games with the Pirates this year, Frazier has slashed .239/.323/.355 with three home runs and eight RBI. In a corresponding move, the club sent Casey Sadler to Indianapolis.

Rosario will start at shortstop and man the leadoff spot for the Mets in Wednesday's game against the Padres, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

The Padres have brought southpaw starters to the hill for each of the three games of the series, so the lefty-hitting Brandon Nimmo has moved down in the order to open up the table-setting role for the righty-hitting Rosario. The 22-year-old has fared well in that capacity over the first two games against San Diego, going 2-for-8 with a triple, walk, stolen base and three runs. Rosario will likely drop to the bottom third of the lineup when the Mets oppose righties.

The Yankees activated Torres (hip) from the 10-day disabled list Wednesday. He'll start at second base and bat fifth in the Yankees' series finale against the Rays, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

Torres was sidelined for the past three weeks with a strained right hip, but proved his health by going 3-for-9 with a pair of walks over his three-game rehab assignment at High-A Tampa. The rookie should ease back into a full-time role at the keystone right away for the Yankees, resulting in more limited at-bats for the likes of Neil Walker and Brandon Drury (hand).

Tomlinson went 2-for-3 with a triple, RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Mariners.

Tomlinson nabbed the three-bagger in his first at-bat, then later knocked in a run on a two-out single. The 28-year-old is now 2-for-7 over three starts since being recalled from Triple-A Sacramento just before the All-Star break and will likely continue to play only sporadically while with the major-league team.

Andrus went 2-for-4 with a grand slam, two runs and five RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Athletics.

Andrus connected for his first career grand slam in the sixth inning off reliever J.B. Wendelken. Andrus is now hitting .268 with four home runs, nine doubles and 16 RBI in 41 games this season. The 29-year-old is ridding a modest six-game hitting streak and has hit the ball out of the park in back-to-back games.

Semien went 1-for-6 with a double, two runs and three RBI in Tuesday's win over the Rangers.

Semien hit a two-run double in the seventh inning and then secured another RBI in the eighth on a force attempt. Semien is having a decent July, hitting .268 with seven doubles, seven RBI, 10 walks and 10 runs scored in 18 games. His power numbers are down from years prior but his 56 runs this season are tied for fifth among all MLB shortstops.

Motter was designated for assignment by the Twins following Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Motter was recalled from Triple-A Rochester on Friday, but the Twins needed to make a move to clear space on the 40- and 25-man rosters for the return of Ervin Santana (finger) from the 60-day disabled list. Motter was claimed by the Twins in late May after being designated for assignment by the Mariners.

Drury was diagnosed with a left hand bruise after X-rays came back negative Tuesday, Marc Carig of The Athletic New York reports.

Drury exited Tuesday's game against the Rays after being hit by a pitch on the left hand. The severity of the bruise remains unclear at this point, but it wouldn't be surprising if the 25-year-old were held out of the lineup for a couple of days at least.
