The 29-year-old made one start in the ALDS versus the Twins and went 2-for-5 with a pair of singles. Dubon will also start the series opener against Texas with lefty Jordan Montgomery taking the mound. Michael Brantley will come off the bench as a result.

The Rockies sent Castro outright to Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday.
Castro slashed .252/.275/.314 with 31 RBI across 270 plate appearances with the Rockies in 2023, and he will remain in the organization after clearing waivers. Barring a significant turnaround, the 29-year-old infielder seems unlikely to have a significant role with Colorado in 2024.

Lopez signed a minor-league contract with Atlanta on Saturday.
Lopez elected free agency after being removed from the Reds' 40-man roster earlier this month but has quickly caught on in another organization. He'll likely be in Atlanta's major-league camp during spring training as a non-roster invitee.

Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Playing center field in Game 3
Hernandez is playing center field and batting seventh Wednesday in Game 3 of the NLDS at Arizona.
Hernandez hit an RBI single off the bench in Monday's Game 2 loss and will now get the nod over James Outman in Game 3 as the Dodgers look to avoid being swept by the Diamondbacks. Hernandez went 2-for-5 with a double and a homer against Game 3 starter Brandon Pfaadt during the regular season.

Dubon is out of the lineup Wednesday for Game 4 of the ALDS versus the Twins.
Dubon started in center field Tuesday in Game 3 and went 2-for-5 with two singles, but the Astros will turn back to Chas McCormick to cover the position Wednesday as they take on right-hander Joe Ryan. McCormick has gone 2-for-7 with a homer in his career meetings against Ryan. Dubon, meanwhile, has never once faced Ryan.

This is the first start of the series for Dubon, who has gone 2-for-7 with a double in his career against right-hander Sonny Gray, the ALDS Game 3 starter for the Twins. Chas McCormick, who will ride the pine Tuesday, is 0-for-3 with three strikeouts lifetime versus Gray.

Julien is out of the lineup for Game 2 of the ALDS against the Astros on Sunday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
The Twins are facing their first left-handed starter of the playoffs in Framber Valdez, and Julien will head to the bench as a result. The rookie infielder is 2-for-10 with a double, two walks and a run through three postseason games.

Frazier is not in the lineup for Game 2 of the ALDS versus the Rangers on Sunday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
It's the second consecutive game out of the starting nine for Frazier, with Texas sending out another left-hander in Jordan Montgomery. Jordan Westburg will shift to second base while Gunnar Henderson moves to the hot corner. Jorge Mateo starts at shortstop.

Wong is listed on the Dodgers' roster for the National League Divisional Series against the Diamondbacks, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Wong has gone 9-for-30 with two homers and eight RBI since being picked up by Los Angeles in August. He likely won't get many starting reps in the postseason behind Mookie Betts, but he's emerged as a solid pinch-hit option off the bench.
