Hoerner went 1-for-5 with one RBI in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning win over Atlanta.

Hoerner had a relatively unimpressive return after missing over a week with a hamstring issue, but he made up for it with a one-out, walk-off single in the 10th inning. The infielder is slashing .267/.357/.385 with two home runs, 13 RBI, 25 runs scored and five stolen bases over 185 plate appearances. Hoerner's return will likely mean less playing time for Nick Madrigal moving forward, assuming Hoerner doesn't suffer a setback with his hamstring.

Keith went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday's 10-3 loss to the Royals.

While the Tigers struggled as a team, Keith continued to roll. The rookie is batting a robust .441 over his last 10 contests, and he's recorded three or more hits in a game three times already this month. Keith came into May batting just .154 but has pushed that figure to .230, and the 22-year-old has a prospect pedigree that suggests he'll be able to sustain this level of play.

The Yankees transferred Vivas' (undisclosed) rehab assignment Tuesday from Single-A Tampa to High-A Hudson Valley.

Vivas remains on Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's 7-day injured list with an unspecified injury, which has prevented him from playing with the affiliate since April 24. The infielder appears to be closing in on a return to the Triple-A club, however, after going 1-for-11 with three walks and a stolen base across his four rehab appearances with Tampa last week.

Hoerner (hamstring) will start at second base and bat sixth in Tuesday's game versus Atlanta.

Hoerner hasn't played in more than a week due to a left hamstring injury, but he's finally feeling well enough to give it a go Tuesday. Dansby Swanson is also back from an injured-list stint, so the Cubs will have their middle-infield duo back together for the first time since May 7.

Bogaerts (shoulder) is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game in Cincinnati.

It's no surprise, of course, after Bogaerts suffered a left shoulder injury in the first game of Monday's doubleheader in Atlanta. Initial testing indicated that Bogaerts avoided a dislocation and might not need a stint on the injured list, but he and the Padres are still awaiting the results of other tests. Luis Arraez will handle second base Tuesday and Donovan Solano will be the designated hitter.

Polanco (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees.

Polanco hasn't taken the field since May 13, but he's close to returning after being available off the bench Monday. While it hasn't been confirmed he'll be available Tuesday, that should be the expectation considering his status Monday. Dylan Moore will draw a start at second base and bat ninth.

Turang is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Marlins.

Turang isn't starting for a second straight game, with southpaw Trevor Rogers on the bump for Tuesday's contest. Instead, Andruw Monasterio will lead off and play second base.

Julien is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals.

Julien will yield to Kyle Farmer at second base with lefty Patrick Corbin on the mound for the Nationals. Julien is 0-for-12 with five strikeouts since Wednesday.

The Pirates recalled Bae from Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday.

Bae began the season on the injured list with a hip issue and was optioned once healthy. He's earned a promotion following a terrific run at Indianapolis, though, during which he sported a .367/.479/.551 batting line with four home runs and seven stolen bases over 27 games. Bae is capable at a handful of positions but is mostly a second baseman and center fielder. He could see semi-regular duty.

Lopez went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's extra-inning win over the Brewers.

Making another start at second base, Lopez continued a strong stretch that has seen him slash .306/.350/.528 over the last 11 games with two homers, a steal, four runs and eight RBI. The 25-year-old has been forming an effective double-play duo with Vidal Brujan of late, but with Tim Anderson (back) poised to come off the IL, it's not clear how the Marlins will divvy up playing time at the middle-infield spots between the three players. Lopez has played well enough to remain in a significant role, however.
