Peraza has been dealing with swelling in his left knee, but he seems to be feeling well enough to return to the lineup after sitting the first game of Tuesday's action. The 23-year-old has had a quiet season in the majors overall, but he's gone 10-for-31 with four RBI since the start of September.

Chapman (finger) hopes to return later this week, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
He went through a full day of workouts, including making throws in the infield and hitting off a velocity machine. For weeks, he'd only been fielding groundballs, so advancing to making throws is a big step. In the meantime, Cavan Biggio and Santiago Espinal have been platooning at third base.

Urias is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cardinals, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Urias had started four of the previous five contests, including two straight, but he will begin this one on the bench. The Orioles are going with Adam Frazier at second base and Jordan Westburg at third.

Mead was recalled from Triple-A Durham on Tuesday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.
He's taking the roster spot of the injured Jose Siri (hand). Mead will provide some infield protection with Isaac Paredes (hand) banged up, although Paredes' return to the lineup is seemingly imminent.

Peraza (knee) could be available to play at some point during Tuesday's doubleheader versus the Red Sox, Greg Joyce of the New York Post reports.
Peraza is not starting the first game of the double dip, which is the second straight contest he's been absent from the lineup. The swelling in his left knee has gone down, though, and while it doesn't sound like he'll start the nightcap, he should be available off the bench. Isiah Kiner-Falefa is handling third base in the first game.
