Jace Peterson SS | ARI
Athletics' Jace Peterson: Homers twice, drives in five
Peterson went 5-for-5 with a pair of two-run home runs, an additional RBI and an additional run scored in Tuesday's win over the Pirates.
Peterson was exceptional, adding three singles to the first multi-homer performance of his 10-year career. The outburst snapped a cold streak for the 33-year-old, who entered the contest 4-for-35 (.114) across his last 12 games. Though he has a regular spot in the Athletics' lineup -- lately he's been bouncing between second base and third base -- Peterson's fantasy upside is capped by the Athletics' lack of offensive firepower and his position in the latter half of the order.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Angels' Anthony Rendon: Exit not related to injury
Rendon's early exit from Tuesday's game against the Cubs was not related to injury, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
The Angels brought in Jared Walsh as a defensive replacement for Rendon in the top of the sixth inning, with Walsh handling first base and Gio Urshela moving over to third. It's encouraging the move wasn't related to the groin injury that sidelined Rendon for three weeks, as he was just reinstated from the 10-day injured list prior to Tuesday's game.

Angels' Anthony Rendon: Leaves game in fifth inning
Rendon left Tuesday's game against the Cubs after the fifth inning, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports. He went 0-for-2 with a walk before exiting.
Rendon's exit comes after he was activated off the injured list by the Angels earlier in the day, and it's not known if the move is injury-related at this time. Jared Walsh has taken over Rendon's spot in the lineup with Gio Urshela moving to third and Walsh now playing first.
