Suarez went 2-for-3 in a win over the Athletics on Sunday.

Suarez has now reached safely in 10 straight games, a stretch during which he's hit .351 (13-for-37) with five doubles, two RBI, five walks and two runs. The slugger's slash line now sits at .240/.332/.436 following Sunday's production, with the batting average and on-base percentage at their highest point since April 28 and 29, respectively.

Rivera went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Tigers.

Rivera had an awful June, batting .159 with two doubles, one triple, four RBI, two runs scored and a 3:15 BB:K in 20 contests. His poor form at the plate saw him cede some playing time to Nicky Lopez at third base recently, and Sunday was Rivera's first start since June 29. He responded with his first multi-hit game since May 27. The third baseman has a .207/.258/.386 with five homers, 18 RBI, 17 runs scored, five doubles and three triples in 47 contests. It'll probably take more than one productive effort to regain a starting role -- at best, Rivera's looking at a short-side platoon role, though manager Mike Matheny doesn't often employ such timeshares.

Urshela is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.

Urshela will head to the bench and give way at third base to the hot-hitting Jose Miranda. Despite Miranda's improved production of late, Urshela still appears to be viewed as manager Rocco Baldelli's preferred option at the hot corner.

Burger is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

He hasn't logged an official at-bat since June 26 -- this marks his sixth straight absence from the starting lineup. Yoan Moncada's return from the injured list has made Burger an afterthought, even after the 26-year-old Burger posted an .887 OPS in the month of June.

Walls will start at second base and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Blue Jays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Walls will stay in the lineup for the sixth time in seven games and appears to have solidified himself as the Rays' primary second baseman ahead of Vidal Brujan, at least until Brandon Lowe (back) returns from the injured list. Though he's produced a measly .186/.213/.302 slash line since the beginning of June, Walls' excellent defense in the middle infield looks as though it'll be enough to keep him atop the depth chart for now.

Ramirez is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.

This looks like nothing more than a rest day for Ramirez after he started both games of Saturday's doubleheader. Gabriel Arias slots in at third base and as the No. 3 hitter against lefty Jordan Montgomery. Ramirez has uncharacteristically struck out six times in his last three games, so he could probably use the day off to sit back and observe.

Bregman is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Aledmys Diaz will get a turn at third base as Bregman sits. Bregman went 1-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's game, but he also struck out three times -- rare for the 28-year-old. It was his first three-strikeout game of the season.

LeMahieu is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

There has been no word of an injury, so this is presumably a rest day for LeMahieu after he started both games of Saturday's doubleheader. Anthony Rizzo will be in LeMahieu's customary leadoff spot against right-hander Triston McKenzie.

LeMahieu went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, two walks, three total runs and a stolen base in a win over the Guardians in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader.

LeMahieu hit one of four Yankees homers in the matinee, going deep to right field in the third inning for the team's first run of the game. He finished with his 17th multi-hit performance of the campaign and added his third stolen base. Though LeMahieu went 0-for-3 in the nightcap, he took a walk to extend his on-base streak to 12 games.

Paredes went 4-for-10 with a double, two home runs, five RBI and four runs scored while starting both games of Saturday's doubleheader against the Blue Jays.

By homering in both ends of the doubleheader, Paredes upped his total to 13 in just 40 games this season. Eight of those 13 home runs have come in Paredes' last 10 games. Paredes has a .916 OPS, and while it can be dangerous to go chasing hot streaks, this one should at least solidify his playing time for a stretch.
