Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Cracks first long ball
Lewis went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Brewers.
The Minnesota third baseman smacked a 417-foot solo shot off Milwaukee starter Freddy Peralta in the fourth inning for his 33rd career homer. Perhaps this performance will break Lewis out of his recent funk. He entered this contest amidst a cold spell, slashing just .200/.263/.229 across 38 plate appearances since returning from a left hamstring strain May 6.

White Sox's Miguel Vargas: Keeps up power surge
Vargas went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a hit-by-pitch in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Cubs.
Vargas tied the game at 1-1 with his fourth-inning solo shot off Colin Rea. Over his last nine games, Vargas has logged five multi-hit efforts, going 12-for-34 (.353) with four homers, four doubles and nine RBI. The infielder is up to a .245/.328/.421 slash line with six homers, 21 RBI, 20 runs scored, 10 doubles and one stolen base over 180 plate appearances. Astros' Isaac Paredes: Hits decisive homer in win
Paredes went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Rangers.
Paredes gave the Astros a 4-3 lead they didn't relinquish with a three-run blast in the eighth inning. The 26-year-old has been hot over his past 10 games, hitting safely in eight while collecting six extra-base hits, nine RBI and seven runs scored. On the season, he's slashing .259/.372/.434 with seven homers, 24 RBI and 22 runs scored across 196 plate appearances.

Ben Williamson 3B | TB
Mariners' Ben Williamson: On bench Sunday
Williamson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.
Williamson started the previous five games but will sit Sunday after going 2-for-18 with a walk and six strikeouts during that span, which has dropped his season-long OPS to .554. Miles Mastrobuoni will take over at the hot corner and bat eighth.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
Angels' Yoan Moncada: Back in lineup Sunday
Moncada (thumb) is starting at third base and batting third Sunday against the Dodgers, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Moncada was held out of Saturday's lineup after departing Friday's contest with the thumb issue, but he's back in the starting nine for Sunday's series finale. The 29-year-old missed most of April due to a sprained thumb but appears to have avoided a serious aggravation this time around.

Matthew Lugo SS | LAA
Angels' Matthew Lugo: Two extra-base hits Saturday
Lugo went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an RBI double in Saturday's 11-9 win over the Dodgers.
Lugo was in the lineup for the fourth time in five games, which includes him starting each of the last three contests in center field over Kyren Paris. Lugo has earned the opportunity, batting .381 with three homers and six RBI over his first eight major-league games. As long as he hits well, he should maintain a large share of playing time in the Angels' outfield, though Lugo's role could be reduced once Mike Trout (knee) is able to return.

Will Wagner 2B | SD
Blue Jays' Will Wagner: Lands on minor-league IL
Wagner (foot) was placed on Triple-A Buffalo's 7-day injured list Saturday, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports.
Wagner hasn't played since May 10 due to foot soreness, though recent reports suggested he could return soon. Instead, the 26-year-old will sit for at least another week in order to give the ailing foot additional rest. Wagner began the season with the big-league club but was sent down to Triple-A in late April after posting a meager .504 OPS over 68 plate appearances.

Rays' Junior Caminero: Out of lineup Saturday
Caminero isn't part of the Rays' starting nine for Saturday's game against the Marlins, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.
Caminero will get the day off Saturday, yielding his spot at third base to Jose Caballero against Miami starter Sandy Alcantara. In his last 10 appearances, Caminero is 9-for-37 (.243) with a pair of home runs.
