Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Clubs second homer
Moncada went 3-for-5 with a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Monday's 6-4 win over the Brewers.
He blasted his second homer of the year off Corey Knebel in the ninth inning to give the White Sox an insurance run in the comeback win. Moncada has reached base in all nine games he's played to begin the season, slashing .351/.442/.595, and while the sample is very small, his 14.0 percent walk rate would be a career high, offering a very encouraging sign of skill growth for the 25-year-old.

Twins' Josh Donaldson: Will travel with team
Donaldson (calf) is expected to travel with the Twins on their upcoming road trip, which begins Wednesday, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Donaldson has sat for three straight games after leaving Friday's game against Cleveland with calf tightness. It doesn't sound as though he'll miss too much more time, but the Twins can afford to be cautious with the veteran given the expanded playoffs this season. Marwin Gonzalez will start at the hot corner Monday and appears set to remain there for Tuesday's contest.

Twins' Josh Donaldson: Remains sidelined
Donaldson (calf) will sit again Monday against the Pirates.
Donaldson hasn't played since leaving Friday's game against Cleveland with a tight right calf. The issue is reportedly not serious, but the Twins are understandably being cautious with their prized offseason acquisition, as Donaldson has battled calf issues in the past. Marwin Gonzalez remains the third baseman Monday.

Rafael Devers 1B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Knocks first homer
Devers went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-7 loss to the Yankees.
Devers hit an RBI single to plate Kevin Pillar and later scored on a Miguel Andujar error in the third inning. Devers then launched a go-ahead homer in the seventh for Boston's last run of the game, but it wasn't enough to secure victory for the Red Sox. The third baseman has struggled to start 2020, with just one homer, two RBI and seven runs scored along with a .211 batting average in 10 games.

Nick Madrigal 2B | LAA
White Sox's Nick Madrigal: Shows off Sunday
Madrigal went 4-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-2 win over Kansas City.
Madrigal turned the page on a rough introduction to MLB -- an 0-for-8 in games Friday and Saturday -- with Sunday's four-hit effort. He was integral to Chicago's seven-run seventh inning, scoring the run that broke a 2-2 tie, then driving in the team's final run for his first RBI of the season.

Astros' Alex Bregman: Drives in two runs
Bregman went 2-for-6 with a homer and two RBI in Sunday's win over the Angels.
Bregman's solo shot in the seventh inning was his second long ball of the season. He later knocked in the game-winning run with an 11th-inning single. Still, the 26-year-old infielder is batting just .211 with a .754 OPS through his first nine games.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Twins' Josh Donaldson: Missing another game
Donaldson (calf) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Indians.
He'll be on the bench for the second straight game after exiting early in Friday's contest after experiencing tightness in his right calf. The Twins haven't suggested that Donaldson's injury is a major concern, but for fantasy managers to have any faith in his availability for the upcoming week, the 34-year-old would ideally make a cameo as a pinch hitter in the series finale Sunday. Marwin Gonzalez is drawing the start at third base and should serve as the primary option at the position if Donaldson ends up missing any further time beyond this weekend.

Nick Madrigal 2B | LAA
White Sox's Nick Madrigal: Makes second straight start
Madrigal started at second base for a second straight game and went 0-for-5 in Saturday's 11-5 win over Kansas City.
Madrigal, who was called up by the White Sox on Friday, is hitless over his first eight plate appearances. The speculation is that Chicago would not call up one of their top prospects without having a plan to give him consistent at-bats, so it's likely Madrigal will be the regular starter at second base. That notion was reinforced Saturday when the White Sox placed shortstop Tim Anderson (groin) on the 10-day injured list. Leury Garcia, who had been the starter at second base, is filling in at shortstop for Anderson.
