  • Drew Robinson 3B | TEX

Rangers' Drew Robinson: Will start Sunday

Robinson will start in center field Sunday, Gerry Fraley of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Robinson was called up from Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday after the Rangers placed Delino DeShields Jr. (concussion) on the disabled list. He'll split the center field duties with Carlos Tocci, who started Saturday. Robinson hit just .175 during his time in the majors but had a .930 OPS in 223 plate appearances while at Round Rock.

  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Indians' Jose Ramirez: Swipes 26th base

Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a stolen base Saturday against the Angels.

Ramirez only reached base once but made it count, stealing his 26th base in the eighth inning. He now has four steals in his last five games, pushing him into a tie for the American League lead with Dee Gordon. After a seven-game hitless streak -- during which he went 0-for-16 -- Ramirez extended his hitting streak to five games with Saturday's performance and remains one of the most valuable fantasy players regardless of format.

  • Gio Urshela 3B | MIN

Yankees' Gio Urshela: Sent to Yankees

Urshela was traded to the Yankees for an undisclosed return Saturday, Conor Foley of the Times-Tribune reports.

Urshela will likely fill an organizational depth role for the Yankees. He's appeared at every infield position in his three-year MLB career but offers very little with the bat, hitting just .225/.274/.315 in 167 games.

  • Drew Robinson 3B | TEX

Rangers' Drew Robinson: Recalled from Round Rock

Robinson was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday.

Robinson is up to replace Delino DeShields (concussion). He's done very little in his previous opportunities with Texas this season, hitting just .175/.258/.238 in 26 games.

  • Danny Valencia 3B | BAL

Orioles' Danny Valencia: Not in Friday's lineup

Valencia is out of the lineup against Texas on Friday, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.

Valencia will remain on the bench for a second straight game while Renato Nunez gets another start at third base. Across 76 games this year, Valencia is hitting .270/.322/.422 with nine home runs and 28 RBI.

  • Danny Valencia 3B | BAL

Orioles' Danny Valencia: Takes seat Thursday

Valencia is out of Thursday's lineup against the Rangers, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Valencia will receive his third day off in four games, as Renato Nunez is slated to man the hot corner and bat seventh. Valencia hit .241 with a home run and five RBI through 17 tilts in July.

  • Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Remains on pace for quick return

Devers (hamstring) will take ground balls Thursday, and he's hopeful to return after missing the minimum, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Devers was placed on the 10-day disabled list Sunday with a left hamstring strain, but it wasn't deemed overly serious. He'll test the injury while taking ground balls and hitting on the field Thursday, and if all goes well, he should return to action sometime next week.

  • Nick Madrigal 3B | LAA

White Sox's Nick Madrigal: Promoted yet again

Madrigal advanced to High-A Winston-Salem on Thursday, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Madrigal excelled at Low-A Kannapolis, hitting .341 with three-extra base hits and six RBI through 12 games. He'll look to continue his early success in the minor leagues at the next level.

  • Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL

Blue Jays' Josh Donaldson: Making 'rapid progress'

Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins said that Donaldson (calf) is making rapid progress in his recovery over the past week and attracted interest from teams prior to Tuesday's non-waiver trade deadline, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Specifically, Atkins mentioned that the three-time All-Star is beginning to generate more power from his lower half, which Donaldson had lacked prior to both of his stints on the disabled list this season. Donaldson is continuing to rehab at the Blue Jays' spring training facility in Dunedin, and should soon be ready for simulated-game action. After that, Donaldson would begin a minor-league rehab assignment, at which point Toronto would be able to place the 32-year-old on waivers. Though he's still owed more than $7 million for the final two months of the season, it's possible that teams may be willing to put a claim in on Donaldson in recognition of the upgrade he might provide at third base if he has truly recovered from the calf injury. If Donaldson goes unclaimed, the Blue Jays would then be able to engage in trade talks and try to get something back in return for him before he hits free agency over the winter.

  • Matt Duffy 3B | TEX

Rays' Matt Duffy: Stays hot Wednesday

Duffy went 2-for-5 with an RBI single and a run in a win over the Angels on Wednesday.

Duffy started August off the way he closed out July, generating a second straight multi-hit effort and driving in a run for a third consecutive game. The infielder has hit safely in four straight overall and sports a .306/.356/.491 line for the season.
