Graham Pauley 3B | MIA
Marlins' Graham Pauley: Sitting versus southpaw
Pauley is not in Miami's starting lineup against Washington on Sunday.
The lefty-hitting Pauley will retreat to the dugout with the Nationals sending southpaw MacKenzie Gore to the mound. Javier Sanoja will start at the hot corner and bat eighth. Pauley has gone 5-for-32 with one walk, two runs scored and two RBI since the beginning of April.

Gage Workman 3B | DET
Cubs' Gage Workman: Collects MLB firsts in rout
Workman went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI in Saturday's 16-0 win over the Dodgers. He also stole a base.
Workman didn't enter the contest until the sixth inning, but he still managed to rattle off two hits, which were his first at the MLB level. The 25-year-old also recorded his first MLB stolen base and RBI. Workman isn't seeing consistent playing time as a utility option for the Cubs, so he's mostly off the fantasy radar for now, but an injury to a Chicago starter could give him an opportunity to better showcase his abilities.

Noelvi Marte 3B | CIN
Reds' Noelvi Marte: Singles, scores in win
Marte started at third base and went 1-for-4 with a single and a run scored in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Pirates.
Marte made his first start since being called up earlier this week. He singled in the seventh inning and scored the Reds' final run. It's unclear what Cincinnati manager Terry Francona has planned for Marte in terms of playing time, as there's a crowd at third base with Jeimer Candelario and Gavin Lux also in the mix.

Matt Shaw SS | CHC
Cubs' Matt Shaw: Sitting Saturday
Shaw is not in the Cubs' starting lineup against the Dodgers on Saturday.
Shaw will begin Saturday's contest in the dugout after going 0-for-9 with one run, three walks and three strikeouts over his last four games. Justin Turner will start at the hot corner and bat sixth against Dodgers right-hander Roki Sasaki.

Noelvi Marte 3B | CIN
Reds' Noelvi Marte: Making first start of 2025
Marte is starting at third base and batting sixth against Pittsburgh on Saturday.
With Christian Encarnacion-Strand getting the day off, Jeimer Candelario will shift over to first base while Marte makes his first start of the 2025 campaign at the hot corner. Marte was called up from Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday to fill the spot on the Reds' 26-man roster vacated by Matt McLain (hamstring), who was placed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Marte was slashing .353/.425/.529 with three stolen bases, six runs scored and five RBI across 40 plate appearances in Triple-A before being recalled by the big club.

Mark Vientos DH | NYM
Mets' Mark Vientos: Early-season struggles continue
Vientos went 0-for-4 with a walk and a strikeout in Friday's win over the A's.
After a breakout 2024, Vientos has stumbled out of the gates this season with a .109/.241/.152 slash line, zero homers and only one RBI through his first 54 plate appearances. The 25-year-old is showing signs of finding his timing at the plate, however -- he's reached base nine times in the last six games with six walks and three hits, although all three knocks have been singles.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | NYY
Reds' Jeimer Candelario: Logs first homer
Candelario started at third base and went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Friday's 5-3 win over the Pirates.
The Reds' first three batters walked to open the bottom of the first inning, setting up a possible big inning, but a run-scoring double-play had the potential to limit the damage. That's when Candelario picked up his mates with his first home run of the season. He entered the game with just four hits in his previous 40 at-bats before delivering those two-out RBI. Candelario's slump has not cost him too much playing time, but that could change next week when left fielder Austin Hays (calf) is due back. Hays' return will free up Gavin Lux to potentially move from the outfield to third base.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Sitting vs. southpaw
Muncy is not in the Dodgers' starting lineup against the Cubs on Friday, Noah Camras of DodgersNation.com reports.
With the Cubs sending left-hander Matthew Boyd to the mound, Muncy will begin Friday's game in the dugout while Miguel Rojas starts at third base and bats ninth. Muncy has gone 6-for-25 with three doubles, two RBI and 11 strikeouts since the beginning of April.
