Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Out of Tuesday's lineup
Hayes is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Reds, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.
He missed time recently with a back issue. There has been nothing yet to suggest this absence is directly related, so perhaps the Pirates just want to give Hayes a day off here and there over the final nine days of the season. Rodolfo Castro slides over to third base while Ji-hwan Bae is starting at second base.

Kevin Newman 3B | LAA
Pirates' Kevin Newman: Nine-game hitting streak

Newman reached base three times to extend his hitting streak to nine games. He's hit .314 with four RBI, three runs scored and three stolen bases in that span. Despite hitting well, Newman could lose some playing time across the final week of the season as the Pirates look to keep Rodolfo Castro and Ji-hwan Bae in the lineup.

Evan Longoria 3B | ARI
Giants' Evan Longoria: Clutch pinch-hit single
Longoria went 1-for-1 with two RBI in Sunday's victory over the Diamondbacks.
Longoria pinch hit for Ford Proctor in the top of the eighth inning Sunday and came up big with a two-run single to put the Giants up 3-1. The veteran has settled into a platoon role of late and does not have much fantasy appeal at this point in his career, but the big hit Sunday keeps the Giants' playoff hopes alive.

Giants' J.D. Davis: Four hits in win
Davis went 4-for-5 with a solo home run and two doubles in Sunday's win over the Diamondbacks.

The four hits ties a career high and is good for his third multi-hit effort this month. He is slashing .250/.341/.417 with 10 home runs, 33 RBI and 42 runs scored through 331 plate appearances this season.

He's now 8-for-12 in stolen base attempts on the season and has been successful in six of his last seven attempts. Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Reaches milestone marks
Arenado went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Dodgers.
Arenado's homer was his 30th of the year, and it also accounted for his 100th RBI. He's reached those milestone marks in seven straight full seasons, missing them only in the shortened 2020 campaign. The third baseman has supplemented his usual hearty power numbers with a career-high five stolen bases, 41 doubles (two shy of his best mark), a triple, 71 runs scored and a .295/.359/.542 slash line through 142 contests this year. Arenado has tailed off a bit in September, slashing .221/.294/.364 across his last 21 games.
