Edmundo Sosa 3B | PHI
Phillies' Edmundo Sosa: Swipes two bags
Sosa stole two bases in a 1-0 loss to the Mets on Saturday.
Sosa came on to pinch run for Rhys Hoskins in the top of the ninth with his team down by a run. He immediately stole second and then also took third on a double steal to put the winning run in scoring position after J.T. Realmuto was walked with two out. Sosa now has five stolen bases in six attempts over 141 plate appearances with a slash line of .185/.248/.269. He should continue to see pinch-running opportunities from his backup role.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Huge offensive game Saturday
Muncy went 4-for-5 with a home run, a double, two total runs and four total RBI in Saturday's 13-3 win over Kansas City.
Muncy was part of a big first inning for the Dodgers, knocking in one of the team's five runs with a single. He added a two-run homer in the fourth and a run-scoring double in the sixth. This was Muncy's first four-hit game of the campaign, lifting his season batting average to .189. That number remains uninspiring, but the veteran slugger has been coming on of late, slashing .424/.472/1.000 with five homers, four doubles and 12 RBI over nine games in August.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Padres' Manny Machado: Remains red hot in loss
Machado went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and a walk in a loss to the Nationals on Saturday.
Machado kicked off the scoring in the contest with a solo shot in the third inning. The veteran also doubled in the seventh to notch his fourth straight multi-hit performance. Over that stretch, Machado is slashing .474/.500/1.053 with two homers, five doubles, seven runs and eight RBI.

Emmanuel Rivera 3B | BAL
Diamondbacks' Emmanuel Rivera: Knocks pair of solo shots
Rivera went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs and a walk in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Rockies.
Rivera is picking up his power pace -- he's hit safely in his last six games, logging four homers and three doubles while going 9-for-19 (.474). For perspective, he had all of six long balls in 63 contests with the Royals to begin the year. The third baseman is up to a .253/.304/.466 slash line with 10 homers, 28 RBI, 32 runs scored, 11 doubles and three triples through 237 plate appearances this year. Rivera sees roughly half of the playing time at the hot corner, while the more defensively versatile Josh Rojas gets the rest of it when the latter does play third, though that balance could change if the former stays productive at the plate.

Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Not in Saturday's lineup
Hayes (back) isn't starting Saturday against the Giants.
Hayes is dealing with back spasms and will be excluded from the lineup for a second consecutive game. He remains day-to-day for now, but Rodolfo Castro will start at the hot corner and bat seventh Saturday.

Mets' Eduardo Escobar: Not in Saturday's lineup
Escobar (side) isn't starting Saturday against the Phillies.
