Escobar went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and scored twice in a victory over the Mets on Sunday.

Batting in his usual third spot in the lineup, Escobar drilled a home run to left field with a man aboard to cap a three-run first inning. Escobar has filled the offensive chasm left by Paul Goldschmidt quite admirably in his first full season in Arizona, leading the club in hits, runs, homers, and runs batted in. For the season, he is slashing .288/.345/.568.

Arenado went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in Sunday's 5-1 win over Toronto.

Arenado extended his hitting streak to 13 games and bumped his season OPS to a robust 1.033 across 256 plate appearances. After slashing a ridiculous .425/.479/.783 during May, the perennial MVP contender is showing no signs of slowing down. He's on pace for 45 home runs and 146 RBI, which would mark a new personal best in each category.

Moustakas (hand) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Pirates.

Moustakas exited Saturday's game with a right hand bruise after being hit by a pitch, but he received good news when postgame X-rays came back negative. Nonetheless, the Brewers will play it safe and hold him out of the lineup with a scheduled off day to follow Monday. Hernan Perez receives the start at third base and will bat sixth in the series finale.

Suarez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

With the Reds facing a tough right-hander in Max Scherzer in the series finale, manager David Bell decided it was a good time to give Suarez a breather. Suarez, who has gone 15-for-37 (.405 average) with nine RBI and seven runs in his last 10 games, will sit for the first time since May 3. Josh VanMeter will pick up the start at third base while Suarez rests.

Riley went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer and two strikeouts in Saturday's 10-5 win over the Tigers.

Riley broke through with the 428-foot blast during the sixth inning to give the Braves a 6-4 lead. The 22-year-old is slashing .349/.388/.762 with eight homers and 22 RBI through his first 16 major-league games, as he continues to stake his claim to an everyday spot in the lineup.

Moustakas was confirmed to be dealing with a right hand bruise after X-rays came back negative Saturday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Moustakas exited Saturday's game after being hit by a pitch on the back of the right hand, though he wanted to remain in the contest. The 30-year-old hit his 16th home run of the season earlier in the game and should be considered day-to-day.

Moustakas was removed from Saturday's game in Pittsburgh with a bruised right hand.

Moustakas was hit by a Felipe Vazquez fastball in the top of the ninth inning and stayed in to run the bases, eventually scoring on Keston Hiura's game-tying homer. The veteran infielder didn't retake the field for the bottom of the frame. The early diagnosis of a bruise is good news, but it still wouldn't be surprising to see him undergo X-rays. Moustakas went 1-for-4 with two runs scored and a solo home run prior to exiting the contest.

Davis is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Davis will head to the bench for the third time in the last four games after slashing .219/.250/.370 over 24 games in May. Todd Frazier will start at third base while Dominic Smith gets another start in left field.

Muncy went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a second run scored in Friday's 6-3 win over the Phillies.

Muncy has homered in two of his last three games. The infielder has gone 13-for-41 in his last 10 games with three homers, 12 runs scored and six RBI in that span. The two-hit night raises Muncy's line to .275/.368/.524 in 189 at-bats this season.

Arenado went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a run scored and three RBI in Friday's 13-6 rout of the Blue Jays.

The third baseman has now hit safely in 11 straight games, slashing a spectacular .500/.560/.864 over that stretch with four homers and 15 RBI. Arenado is on pace for his best season yet -- his 1.029 OPS through 55 games is 70 points better than the career-high mark he put together in 2017.
