Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Giants' Matt Duffy: Will bat third to help slumping offense
Duffy was moved back to the three-hole and went 0-for-4 with an RBI in the 8-1 win over Miami on Friday.
Manager Bruce Bochy wanted to move Duffy back to third in the lineup (where he batted last year) in order to shake things up for a Giants club that had lost seven of their last eight games. This obviously didn't work out for Duffy personally, as he failed to collect a hit after getting multiple hits over his last three contests. Overall, the change helped spark the club, as they put up an eight spot Friday. Duffy should continue bat third for the immediate future, which is prime real estate for accruing counting stats.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies' Nolan Arenado: Goes yard in win over Dodgers
Arenado went 2-for-3 with has seventh home run of the season and three runs scored in Friday's win over the Dodgers.
Arenado had failed to hit safely in his last nine at-bats heading into Friday, but the return to the always-generous Coors Field helped him rebound effectively. He now sits tied for second in baseball in RBI and third in home runs, living up to his reputation as one of the premier producers of counting stats in the fantasy world.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Diamondbacks' Jean Segura: Three more hits in win
Segura went 3-for-5 with a triple, two RBI and a run against the Giants on Thursday.
His April onslaught continues -- Segura's .338 average and .375 OBP at the top of the Arizona order have been a big reason the team's a game above .500 in the early going. A shortstop his whole career, Segura's been moved to second base this season, but got his first start of the year at short Thursday with Nick Ahmed getting most of the day off.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Giants' Matt Duffy: Smacks two doubles in loss to Arizona
Duffy went 2-for-4, smacking a pair of doubles in Wednesday's loss to the Diamondbacks.
After hitting two home runs in his first three games this season, Duffy has been mired in a sophomore slump (.217/.254/.383). He managed to end an 0-for-13 skid with a pair of singles Tuesday, but he had a couple of more authoritative hits Wednesday, indicating that he may finally be heating up at the plate.

Jace Peterson SS | ARI
Braves' Jace Peterson: Not part of Thursday's lineup
Peterson is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Dodgers, Kevin McAlpin of the Braves Radio Network reports.
Peterson has not been in the lineup against a left-handed starter all season, so it should come as little surprise that he is sitting out Thursday against Dodgers southpaw Clayton Kershaw.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Striking out a ton
McMahon, 21, is batting .250/.327/.354 with six RBI and one steal through 13 games for Double-A Hartford.
McMahon has fanned a staggering 18 times to begin the season, though perhaps this should not be all that surprising. Even in a stellar year at High-A in 2015, he struck out 153 times in 132 games. A less hitter-friendly environment at this level should be a better indicator of his future trajectory, though McMahon remains one of the better prospects in the Colorado system.

Yadiel Rivera 3B | MIL
Brewers' Yadiel Rivera: Starting Wednesday against Twins
Rivera is batting seventh and playing second base Wednesday against the Twins.
With left-hander Tommy Milone on the bump for Minnesota, Rivera will take over at second base for regular second baseman Scooter Gennett. Rivera will look to consider his nice start to the season, as he's posted an .804 OPS with three doubles in 18 plate appearances.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Diamondbacks' Jean Segura: Collects three hits Monday
Segura went 3-for-6 with two runs, an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's win over the Giants.
After sitting out Sunday, Segura had a productive return to the lineup. He had cooled some (5-for-26 over his previous seven games) following a scorching start, but he looks to be back in a groove already. As long as he continues to hit, he should be a decent source of runs and stolen bases atop Arizona's lineup.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Rockies' DJ LeMahieu: Back in lineup Tuesday
LeMahieu (groin) is back in the lineup Tuesday against the Reds, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
LeMahieu was held out Monday with a sore left groin, but it apparently wasn't anything overly serious as he's back in the lineup after just one day. He'll man his usual spot at the keystone and bat leadoff against Robert Stephenson.

Jace Peterson SS | ARI
Braves' Jace Peterson: Is not in Tuesday's lineup
Peterson is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Dodgers.
Peterson went 2-for-4 with one double, one walk, one walk, and three RBI in what was his best game of the season thus far. The 25-year-old will take Tuesday off to rest while Daniel Castro makes a spot start in his place.
