Candelario landed on the bereavement list Tuesday.

Players can spend between three and seven days on the bereavement list, placing Candelario's return somewhere between Friday and next Tuesday. Isaac Paredes was recalled in a corresponding move and could see starts at third base in Candelario's absence, though those could also go to Harold Castro.

The Tigers recalled Paredes from Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday.

While he's up with the big club, Paredes should get the chance to fill in at third base for Jeimer Candelario (personal), who was placed on the bereavement list in a corresponding move. Paredes maintains a .732 OPS through 125 plate appearances at Triple-A this season, but he was far less impressive at the big-league level in 2020. He slashed .220/.278/.290 in 34 games with the Tigers last season, producing only five extra-base hits (one home run, four doubles) and no stolen bases across 108 plate appearances.

Noel was confirmed to have avoided a fractured ankle Tuesday but does have a sprain.

Noel got off to an excellent start this season in his first taste of full-season ball, hitting .347/.368/.639 with five homers in 17 games for Low-A Lynchburg. The severity of his sprain and his expected return date are not yet clear.

Machado went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in Monday's 9-4 win over the Cubs.

The 28-year-old plated his first two runs of the night on a pair of sacrifice flies before taking reliever Cory Abbott deep for a solo blast in the eighth inning. Having now left the yard twice in his last three starts, Machado is up to eight home runs on the season, good for sole possession of second place on the Padres behind standout shortstop Fernando Tatis (17).

Rendon went 2-for-5 with a double, a RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 9-5 loss to the Mariners.

Rendon was quiet in his first three at-bats before scoring in the eighth inning and knocking in Justin Upton in the ninth frame on a double. The third baseman is slashing just .236/.311/.347 with three home runs, 22 RBI and 15 runs in 161 plate appearances in his age-31 season. He has picked up the slack recently with three multi-hit games in his last five contests.

LeMahieu went 0-for-5 with a walk and two strikeouts Sunday in the Yankees' 6-5 loss to the Red Sox in 10 innings.

LeMahieu suffered through one of his worst games of the season, both at the plate and in the field. Though he wasn't officially charged with an error on the night, LeMahieu was unable to flag down a catchable shallow pop fly off the bat of Christian Arroyo in the eighth inning, which fell in for a base hit. Arroyo then came around to score the go-ahead run on a sacrifice fly. LeMahieu had a chance to make amends with two outs in the bottom of the 10th, but he grounded out to second base to end the game. After the hitless outing, LeMahieu is now holding down a .656 OPS for the season, his worst showing in the category since 2014. He's also failed to record an extra-base hit since May 18, a stretch of 62 at-bats.

Muncy (ankle) was used as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning Sunday and flied out to right field in his only at-bat.

Muncy came on to hit for Trevor Bauer with a pair of runners on base and two outs in a two-run game but couldn't produce a clutch hit. He remains day-to-day for a return to playing the field and rejoining the starting lineup after mildly spraining his right ankle Friday. The Dodgers are off Monday, so Muncy's next chance to start will come Tuesday in Pittsburgh.

Hayes went 2-for-4 in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Marlins on Sunday.

He's 7-for-18 with a double, triple and homer in four games since returning from a wrist injury. Hayes missed two months with the injury and suffered a similar injury two years ago, according to Rob Biertempfel of The Athletic. Medical director Todd Tomczyk believes Hayes is past the wrist problems. "We did identify certain things that potentially could have led to the recurrent issue," Tomczyk said. "But based on that (the first injury) is two years removed and (Hayes) did have a full body of work last year, we're optimistic that this specific incur to his left wrist will not happen again."

Walls went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's win over the Rangers.

Walls has been enduring some expected struggles in his first taste of big-league pitching, but he seems to be trending in the right direction of late and has recorded at least one knock in four of his last five games. Plus, this was his first multi-hit game since his big-league debut May 22. The shortstop is hitting .262 with a .737 OPS on the season.

Wisdom went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Sunday's win over the Giants.

Wisdom has been on some kind of roll since getting recalled from Triple-A Iowa on May 25, as he now has seven home runs in just 13 games. To put that in perspective, the 29-year-old came into the year with just four career MLB home runs in 43 games. Wisdom will cool down at some point, but he's worth a look from fantasy managers while he's playing regularly and performing this well.
