Bregman's legs are "a little sore," which is why he is not in Saturday's lineup against the A's, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

He will get a couple days to rest up, as the Astros have Sunday off before starting a three-game series with the Tigers on Monday. Aledmys Diaz is starting at third base and batting seventh.

Davis will miss a third straight game after he was hit in the hand by a pitch Tuesday against the Phillies. Jonathan Villar will start at third base Saturday, batting eighth.

Escobar was the the only Arizona batter with multiple hits in the contest, and he came through with a two-run shot to right field in the eighth inning to tie the game 5-5. After struggling through a 1-for-21 start to the season, the veteran infielder has gone 3-for-7 with a pair of homers and four RBI over his past two games.
