Devers will make his spring debut Friday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Devers has been delayed to start camp after his girlfriend gave birth right before spring training began. He should still have more than enough time to get up to speed by the start of the regular season.

Robinson (elbow) will serve as the Giants' designated hitter and bat ninth in Wednesday's Cactus League game against the Brewers, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Though Robinson won't see any defensive work Wednesday, he previously saw action at second base and right field in his prior two spring appearances. As such, it appears safe to conclude that he's reasonably healthy after requiring progressive Tommy John surgery on his left elbow in August. Robinson is attending camp as a non-roster invitee and will compete for a utility spot on the Giants' Opening Day roster.

Davis' MRI on his jammed left shoulder didn't show much inflammation or any new structural damage Wednesday, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.

Davis left Tuesday's game against the Tigers after diving for a groundball, but he seems to have escaped without serious injury. The MRI did reveal a previous injury to Davis' shoulder that the Mets and Davis apparently both didn't know about, but that issue hasn't produced any previous symptoms and doesn't appear to be a major worry. Despite the good news, it remains unclear when Davis will return to game action.

Manager Dusty Baker said Toro won't be at camp Wednesday while he recovers from a case of pink eye, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Given the contagious nature of his eye condition, the Astros understandably don't want Toro around their facility. Once he's likely healthier in a few days, Toro should resume working out and rejoin the spring lineup shortly thereafter. The third baseman doesn't look at any risk of missing the start of the regular season, but his absence from camp won't help his chances of cracking the Astros' Opening Day roster.

Anderson (hand) will start at third base and bat second in Wednesday's Grapefruit League game against the Cardinals, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Anderson exited early in Monday's contest against the Cardinals after being struck on the hand by a pitch, but he was fortunate to escape without any structural damage. After taking Tuesday off while waiting for the soreness to subside, Anderson is ready to reclaim his usual spot in the field and batting order.

Senzel (shoulder) isn't yet ready for game action, but is getting closer while working through his throwing program, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

We still don't have a specific date for his projected Cactus League debut, but all the emphasis right now is on Senzel working on throwing. "We're focusing so much on his throwing progression that we'll add [hitting] in quickly," manager David Bell said. "It's not that he can't do it. We're letting him focus all his energy on getting his arm healthy."

Davis jammed his left shoulder Tuesday diving for a groundball in the fifth inning against the Tigers, according to Mike Puma of the New York Post.

Davis received encouraging news following an examination by the Tigers' team doctor, who found no labrum or rotator cuff damage. The 26-year-old is scheduled to have an MRI exam on his left shoulder Wednesday.

Davis left Tuesday's game against the Tigers in the fifth inning. The nature and severity of the injury are not yet known, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Davis dove to his left to field a groundball before laying motionless on the ground for a few moments, according to eyewitness accounts, then spent some time being tended to by a trainer. The 26-year-old was able to walk off the field under his own power. Davis projects as the Mets' primary left fielder to open the 2020 season, but continues to receive significant reps at third base, his natural position, this spring.

Toro was removed from the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Marlins due to eye irritation, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Unless the issue develops into something worse than originally reported, it doesn't sound as though Toro's preparation for the upcoming season will be significantly impacted. The 23-year-old is competing for a bench spot this spring after hitting a modest .218/.303/.385 in his 25-game debut last year.

Madrigal started at second base and went 0-for-3 in a spring game against the Dodgers on Monday.

Madrigal, a top prospect in the organization, is part of the competition at second base, although the consensus opinion entering spring training is that he'll need to be off the charts to open the season in Chicago. He's hit at all stops in the minors but has just 134 plate appearances in Triple-A. There's a good chance Madrigal emerges as the everyday option at the keystone later in the season.
