Escobar went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, two runs scored and a walk to help the Diamondbacks to a 7-5 victory over the Marlins on Monday.

Escobar had gone hitless in his last seven at-bats coming into the contest, but he snapped out of it with his sixth-inning solo blast off Pablo Lopez. The 30-year-old's productive campaign at the dish continues, as he's up to 35 homers and 114 RBI on the season, both of which are easily career-best marks. He's also slashing .271/.322/.528 in 148 games.

Astudillo is not starting Monday against the White Sox.

Astudillo has been given plenty of opportunities in September, starting nine times this month. He's hit for a decent average but has done little else, posting a .273/.351/.303 slash line, though he does have a characteristically low 5.4 percent strikeout rate over that stretch.

Chapman went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

He can't seem to do much else except hit homers lately, but Chapman does have 10 RBI in September on just six hits courtesy of that power display. The slugging third baseman is otherwise hitting an anemic .133 since the calendar flipped, although fantasy managers are undoubtedly benefiting from the five times he's left the yard over the last 18 contests.

Moncada went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's 11-10 loss to Seattle.

Moncada has now reached double-digit stolen bases in two straight seasons with his 10th of the year Sunday. The 24-year-old has knocked three hits in four of his last six games, boosting his average to .308 and his OPS to .900.

McMahon went 3-for-5 with two homers, four RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 10-5 win over the Padres.

McMahon swatted a two-run shot in the third inning and later tacked on a solo blast in the eighth. It was his fourth multi-homer game this season, and he's up to 22 total in 2019. The 24-year-old infielder also boosted his OPS to .797 with 80 RBI.

Suarez went 2-for-3 with a pair of solo homers and a walk in a victory over Arizona on Sunday.

Suarez took Arizona starter Zac Gallen deep to center field in the fourth and sixth innings to account for the decisive margin of victory. The pair of long balls brought Suarez into a tie for first in the majors with 47 homers this season, 29 of which have come since the All-Star break. The 28-year-old has been especially productive in September, hitting .386 (17-for-44) with eight roundtrippers and 15 RBI in 44 at-bats.

Arenado is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Arenado will head to the bench after starting the last 22 games and posting a 1.318 OPS with nine home runs and 20 RBI in that stretch. Ryan McMahon will cover the hot corner Sunday while Garrett Hampson starts at second base.

Candelario will sit again Sunday against the Orioles, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.

Candelario owns an unimpressive .200/.349/.314 slash line in 10 games this September. John Hicks starts at first base for the second game in a row.

Moustakas went 2-for-3 with a walk and a two-run homer in Saturday's win over the Cardinals.

Moustakas tied the game with a two-run shot off Jack Flaherty in the fourth inning, his 27th homer of the year. He's now gone 6-for-13 with three homers in four games since returning from a wrist injury.

Chapman went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 8-6 win over the Rangers.

The Athletics found themselves behind 3-0 after the second inning, but Chapman took Rangers starter Mike Minor deep in the third to even the score. It was the first of four homers for the A's in the contest. The third baseman is up to 33 homers, 84 RBI and 95 runs scored while slashing .251/.345/.514 in 144 games this season.
