Anderson went 1-for-4 with a grand slam Wednesday in the Marlins' 7-4 loss to the Twins.

Anderson's ninth-inning blast proved relatively meaningless to the outcome with the Twins already holding a commanding lead, but his fantasy managers surely took notice. The home run was Anderson's third in four games and his 14th overall since May 21. He'll remain locked into a key run-producing role for Miami the rest of the way as one of the few league-average bats on the MLB roster.

The White Sox officially placed Moncada (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list Thursday.

Reports first surfaced Wednesday indicating Moncada would be bound for the IL after an MRI earlier that day revealed he was dealing with a Grade 1 hamstring strain. The White Sox recalled outfielder Ryan Cordell from Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move, but Ryan Goins will likely act as the primary replacement for Moncada in the infield.

Suarez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 4-1 victory against the Pirates on Wednesday.

With two months still remaining, Suarez already has 29 homers, which is just five short of the career high he set in the category last season. Suarez has hit nine home runs since the All-Star break and finished July with 12 long balls, his most in a month this year. He is batting .258 with 47 extra-base hits, 71 RBI, 57 runs and two steals in 388 at-bats this season.

Manager Aaron Boone said that LeMahieu (groin) has shown improved condition of late and will likely rejoin the lineup for Friday's game against the Red Sox, Mike Mazzeo of Yahoo Sports reports.

Boone indicated that LeMahieu was available as a pinch hitter for Wednesday's 7-5 win over the Diamondbacks, but the infielder ultimately wasn't summoned from the bench. LeMahieu, who has been held out of the lineup for three consecutive games, should benefit from a team off day Thursday before likely making his return to the starting nine for the series opener with Boston if he checks out fine during his Friday warmup. LeMahieu has mostly played second and third base this season, but he could see more usage at first base in the upcoming weeks with Luke Voit (sports hernia) at risk of being sidelined until mid-to-late September.

Moncada will be placed on the 10-day injured list with a Grade 1 hamstring strain, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Moncada exited Tuesday's game with a hamstring injury, and a follow-up MRI confirmed the issue is serious enough to warrant a stay on the shelf. The expectation is that Moncada will miss around two weeks with the injury. Ryan Goins is starting at third base in his place Wednesday and will likely benefit from increased playing time in Moncada's absence.

Moncada (hamstring) is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Mets.

He exited Tuesday's game with right hamstring tightness and will need at least one day off. Ryan Goins is starting at third base and hitting second.

McMahon is not starting Wednesday against the Dodgers, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

McMahon has started the past five games, going 7-for-21 with a home run and six RBI during that stretch. He'll give way to Garrett Hampson at second base in Wednesday's series finale with lefty Hyun-Jin Ryu starting for the opposition.

Urshela will start at third base and bat sixth Wednesday against the Diamondbacks.

Urshela will fill in for the injured DJ LeMahieu (groin) at the hot corner for a fourth straight game after piling up eight hits across the prior three contests. The Yankees are optimistic LeMahieu will rejoin the lineup for the series with Boston during the upcoming weekend, but Urshela could stick in the everyday lineup moving forward after first baseman Luke Voit was diagnosed with a sports hernia and placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday. Look for the Yankees to fill out the two corner-infield spots and designated hitter with some combination of Edwin Encarnacion, LeMahieu and Urshela at least until the team gets one of Voit, Brett Gardner (knee) or Giancarlo Stanton (knee) back from the IL.

Madrigal was promoted to Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

The 22-year-old second baseman was hitting .341/.400/.451 with a 5:14 K:BB in 164 plate appearances at Double-A. Madrigal has otherworldly bat-to-ball skills, but he is limited to gap power, so he could profile as a future leadoff hitter in the big leagues. For fantasy purposes, the potential for a very high batting average, 90-plus runs and 15-25 steals is the selling point. He will likely finish out the year at Triple-A and should take over as the everyday second baseman in Chicago in early 2020.

Donaldson went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run Tuesday in the Braves' 11-8 win over the Nationals.

Donaldson's 24th home run of the season gave the Braves an 8-0 lead, which proved to be crucial insurance with the Nationals mounting a spirited rally late in the contest. The long ball ended a relative dry spell in terms of power production for Donaldson, who managed only four extra-base knocks over his previous 10 contests. He'll be back in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale in Washington, batting cleanup while manning third base.
