Duffy (hamstring) filled the designated-hitter role in High-A Charlotte's win over Daytona on Thursday and went 0-for-2 with a walk.

Duffy is now just 1-for-10 with three walks across his five rehab games, and he's alternated between third base and designated hitter over that span. Offensive struggles aside, the most important aspect of Duffy's rehab is that he's remained free of setbacks after his recovery endured some fits and starts prior to this point. The veteran infielder is expected to move his rehab up to Triple-A Durham at some point in the coming days.

Segura went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBI in an 11-3 loss to the Brewers on Thursday.

Hitting third for the first time this season worked pretty well for Segura, who switched spots in the order with Bryce Harper before Thursday. The Phillies made the change in the hopes of igniting Harper's bat. Although he doesn't have a ton of home-run power for a No. 3 hitter, Segura is experiencing a fine season, slashing .312/.349/.486. He also has four home runs, 19 RBI, 26 runs and two steals in 138 at-bats.

Segura will start at shortstop and bat third Thursday against the Brewers.

Segura has batted out of the two hole in each of his previous 32 starts this season, supplying a stellar .313/.352/.470 batting line in the process. The decision to move Segura down a spot in the order has less to do with him than it does Bryce Harper, who is hitting .149 since April 22 while striking out in 34.1 percent of his plate appearances. The Phillies hope slotting Harper between Andrew McCutchen and Jean Segura will help spark Harper's bat, and in turn, result in more run-producing chances of Segura and cleanup hitter Rhys Hoskins.

Moustakas will start at third base and bat cleanup Thursday against the Phillies.

Moustakas has been a mainstay in the lineup all season, but prior to the promotion of top prospect Keston Hiura on Tuesday, the 30-year-old had seen the bulk of his action at the keystone. With Hiura now settling into a full-time role at second base, Moustakas will shift over to his more natural position at third base, replacing the injured Travis Shaw (wrist). Moustakas has already made 27 starts at second base and will pick up his 12th start at the hot corner Thursday, putting him well on his way to maintaining eligibility at both positions in most fantasy leagues heading into 2020.

Rendon went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two runs and an RBI in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Mets.

Rendon has recorded five hits through the first two games of the series, with Wednesday's showing representing his best performance at the dish since he returned from the injured list May 7. He'll be back in the lineup for the series finale Thursday, slotting in as the Nationals' No. 3 hitter against Mets right-hander Zack Wheeler.

Davis will start at third base and hit fifth Thursday against the Nationals.

Davis will be making his fourth start in five games and appears to have fended off Todd Frazier for top duties at the hot corner. The 26-year-old initially looked on track to lose out on playing time when it was expected that Jed Lowrie (knee/hamstring) would return from the injured list at some point this month, but Lowrie has since incurred a setback in his recovery that will likely keep him sidelined until at least June. Lowrie's ongoing absence should give Davis an extended shot at regular at-bats, making the latter intriguing in NL-only formats and deeper mixed leagues.

Escobar went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, three RBI, three runs and a walk during an 11-1 victory against the Pirates on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old absolutely tormented Pirates pitching this season, going 15-for-27 (.556) with two home runs and 11 RBI in seven games. Unfortunately, the Diamondbacks won't play the Pirates again in 2019, but he's hitting pretty well against everybody. Escobar is batting .293 with nine home runs, 27 RBI and 26 runs in 164 at-bats this season.

Riley went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Cardinals.

Getting the start in left field and hitting sixth in his MLB debut, Riley took Michael Wacha deep in the fourth inning. The 22-year-old slugger had 15 homers in 37 games for Triple-A Gwinnett prior to his promotion, and if he keeps flashing his power in the majors, he could well hang onto a starting job even after Ender Inciarte (back) gets healthy.

Bregman went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Tigers.

Bregman opened the scoring in the first inning with his 14th homer of the season. The third baseman is hitting .270 with 34 RBI and 26 runs scored in 42 games this season. He's working on a five-game hitting streak, during which he's gone 7-for-25 with three long balls, eight RBI and six runs scored.

Suarez went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and three RBI on Wednesday against the Cubs.

Suarez took Carl Edwards Jr. deep in the eighth inning to knot the game at five. It was his 13th home run of the season and sixth in his past 11 games. Notably, he's also recorded multiple hits in five of his past six contests, raising his average from .242 to .263. After a relatively slow start to the season, Suarez appears to be taking yet another step forward with his power production, slugging .577 across 176 plate appearances.
