Jake Burger 3B | TEX
Marlins' Jake Burger: Salvages day with late homer
Burger went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Guardians.
Burger went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in his first three plate appearances Sunday but flipped his production in the ninth inning with a solo homer off Emmanuel Clase. The long ball was his fifth of the year and just his second in 31 games. On the season, Burger owns a .597 OPS but is striking out at a 24.4 percent clip, which would be a career low if it holds.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Exits after HBP on hand
Bregman exited Sunday's game against the Angels after being hit on the left hand by a 93.4 mph sinker in the sixth inning, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
He will presumably go for tests to determine the extent of the injury beyond the initial designation of "discomfort". Bregman missed a game last week when the same hand swelled up after a similar injury. Trey Cabbage entered the game in left field following Bregman's departure Sunday, while Mauricio Dubon moved to third base.

Jordan Westburg 2B | BAL
Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Homer short of cycle
Westburg went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple and two runs scored during Sunday's 9-2 win over Tampa Bay.
Westburg hit a triple for the second consecutive game, bringing his season total to five triples -- tied for the fourth-most in baseball. The third baseman did most of his damage against the bullpen, with his triple coming off Phil Maton in the eighth inning and his final hit (a single) coming off Pete Fairbanks in the ninth. Westburg is 6-for-14 with a homer, three RBI and three runs over the first three games of the O's four-game set against Tampa Bay.

Miguel Sano 3B | LAA
Angels' Miguel Sano: Resumes rehab assignment
Sano (knee) resumed his rehab assignment Saturday in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League, starting at designated hitter while going 1-for-3 with a run and an RBI.
Sano made the third appearance of his rehab assignment, but his first since May 23 after being shut down for more than two weeks after burning his inflamed left knee with a heating pad. He could make a few more appearances in the ACL before shifting his rehab assignment to a higher-level affiliate prior to making his return from the 10-day injured list.

Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
Mariners' Josh Rojas: On bench versus southpaw
Rojas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.
The Mariners are facing a third left-handed pitcher (Cole Ragans) Sunday in the past four games, and Rojas hasn't started any of those three contests. Dylan Moore will receive another start at the hot corner while Ryan Bliss mans second base.
-
Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Out of Sunday's lineup
Hayes is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Hayes had started nine of 10 games since he returned from his back injury in late May, with the lone absence coming in a doubleheader. The 27-year-old has a .745 OPS in 33 at-bats since coming back from the injury, and Sunday's rest day will give him two straight days to take it easy since the Pirates have a team day off Monday. Jared Triolo will man the hot corner in the series finale versus Minnesota.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Giants' Matt Chapman: Sitting with hamstring issue
Chapman is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers due to a hamstring cramp, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
The 31-year-old felt the cramp during Saturday's contest and will receive Sunday off. Casey Schmitt will take over at third base for the Giants, while Chapman should be considered day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener versus the Astros.

Zach McKinstry 3B | DET
Tigers' Zach McKinstry: Starting at shortstop Sunday
McKinstry is starting at shortstop and batting seventh in Sunday's game against the Brewers.
Javier Baez started the first two games of the series at shortstop, but he'll hit the bench Sunday and give way to McKinstry. Baez is struggling mightily this season with a .183/.209/.247 slash line, so McKinstry could earn more playing time moving forward, though the latter profiles more as a utility player than an everyday starter.

Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Rays' Isaac Paredes: Getting breather Sunday
Paredes is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.
Paredes will not start for the first time since May 13 against the Red Sox. Over the first two games of the series, the 24-year-old has gone 0-for-7 with two strikeouts. Jose Caballero will shift over to third base Sunday, while Taylor Walls starts at shortstop against Orioles right-hander Grayson Rodriguez.

David Bote 2B | LAD
Cubs' David Bote: Tallies three hits Saturday
Bote went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Reds.
Playing in only his fifth game of the season, Bote recorded his first three hits of the campaign. The veteran utility player gives the Cubs depth across the infield, and with Nico Hoerner (hand) a little banged up at the moment, Bote may have a brief window of extended playing time. However, when Chicago is fully healthy, Bote will find himself on the bench most days, which limits his fantasy upside.
