Cal Raleigh C | SEA
Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Gets rest Sunday
Raleigh is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
Raleigh made his return to the lineup Saturday following a one-game absence due to a jammed left thumb. Though he got on base twice in the Mariners' 2-1 loss and didn't appear to suffer any setbacks, the lefty-hitting Raleigh will get some maintenance for the day game after a night game and while the Angels bring a southpaw (Reid Detmers) to the hill. Curt Casali checks in for Raleigh behind the dish.

Yankees' Jose Trevino: Still out Sunday
Trevino (knee) is not in Sunday's lineup against the Brewers, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.
The Yankees have an off day Monday, so Trevino will get another day to perhaps get right. He left Friday's game after taking a foul tip off his right knee. Kyle Higashioka has been starting in his place.

Mariners' Cal Raleigh: On base twice in return
Raleigh (thumb) went 1-for-3 with a walk in a loss to the Angels on Saturday.
Raleigh needed just one game off to recover from his jammed left thumb, reentering the lineup Saturday with a productive effort. The 25-year-old is putting together a serviceable September, posting a middling .243 average but complementing it with a .912 OPS thanks in large part to five extra-base hits (one double, four home runs) across 41 plate appearances.

Alejandro Kirk C | TOR
Blue Jays' Alejandro Kirk: Still out Sunday
Kirk (hip) is not in Sunday's lineup against the Orioles.
It sounds like Kirk is day-to-day at best, and he may not be ready to return even after Monday's off day. Kirk was not yet able to run on the field Friday, but he was hitting and playing catch.

Jonah Heim C | ATL
Rangers' Jonah Heim: Bat coming alive
Heim went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Rays.
Heim's fourth-inning homer accounted for all the offense, as the Rangers went 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position. The solo shot extended his hitting streak to three games, during which he's 4-for-12 with two home runs. It's a sign of life from a bat that produced an .070 batting average (3-for-43) over the 14 games preceding his hit streak.
