Porter cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Syracuse by the Mets on Friday.

Porter joined New York on a major-league contract in mid-July and was designated for assignment Tuesday without appearing in a game. The 29-year-old has also spent time in the Giants and Royals organizations this season, and he has a combined .858 OPS in 57 games at the Triple-A level.

Amaya is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Cardinals.

He was behind the dish for the series opener Thursday but will yield to Christian Bethancourt for Friday's afternoon tilt. Amaya has now made five starts to Bethancourt's three since Tomas Nido (knee) went on the injured list.

The Giants optioned Sabol to Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday.

Sabol had been recalled Tuesday but was sent back down two days later without having appeared in a game. He made room on the active roster for trade acquisition Mark Canha.

Feduccia was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Feduccia was called up Saturday and made his debut as a pinch hitter Wednesday. He'll make way off the roster for the newly acquired Kevin Kiermaier.

Diaz isn't in the Rockies' lineup Thursday versus the Angels.

Diaz will take a seat for Thursday's series finale after going 2-for-8 with a run scored over the first two games of the series. Jacob Stallings will start behind the dish instead and bat eighth.

Ruiz exited Wednesday's loss to the Diamondbacks in the fourth inning due to a groin injury, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

A pitch from MacKenzie Gore bounced in the dirt and caught Ruiz in a sensitive area, and the catcher was replaced behind the plate by Riley Adams. Per Golden, manager Dave Martinez says he's concerned about Ruiz, but the issue doesn't seem to be as serious as the similar injury that cost the backstop the final month of the 2022 season. The Nationals are off Thursday, but Ruiz may not be ready to return when the team begins a home series against the Brewers on Friday.

Campusano went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and two total runs scored in Wednesday's 8-1 win over the Dodgers.

Campusano opened the scoring with an RBI single in the second inning and sparked another rally with his solo shot in the fourth. The catcher has seen limited playing time since returning from a thumb injury in early July, going 7-for-23 (.304) over eight games since July 6. He's at a .241/.284/.390 slash line with seven homers, 37 RBI, 29 runs scored, 13 doubles and no stolen bases across 74 contests this season.

Bart went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Astros.

Bart got the Pirates on the board when he took Framber Valdez deep in the second inning. Over 10 games since the All-Star break, Bart has gone 11-for-33 (.333) with three extra-base hits and four RBI. The catcher is up to a .262/.350/.475 slash line with seven homers, 24 RBI, 17 runs scored and no stolen bases over 43 contests this season.

D'Arnaud went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Brewers.

The veteran catcher went back-to-back with Matt Olson in the fourth and eighth innings, as they became the third pair of teammates in Atlanta history to accomplish that feat. It's d'Arnaud's second multi-homer performance in his last seven games, adding to an impressive July that has seen him bat .370 (17-for-46) with nine runs and 10 RBI over 14 games, in addition to the four long balls.

Higashioka is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers.

Higashioka will pick up some rest after he started at catcher in each of the Friars' last three games. Luis Campusano will step in for Higashioka behind the plate while batting eighth.
