Campusano is slashing .326/.398/.515 through High-A Lake Elsinore through 227 at-bats.

The 20-year-old backstop posted a pedestrian .710 OPS in Low-A last season, but he's taken a big step forward offensively with the Storm, as his .326 average currently leads the California League, and he's also mashed eight homers in 62 games. Perhaps most impressively, he's posted a 28:33 BB:K, which has contributed to the stellar .398 on-base percentage. He's also a well-regarded defender, so Campusano has become an all-around standout prospect in his third professional season.

Caratini went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 9-7 win over the Braves.

Caratini hit his second home run of the season as part of a four-run fifth inning for the Cubs. The 25-year-old is stuck as the backup to Willson Contreras behind the plate, as well as Anthony Rizzo at first base, but he's been productive when he plays as he now has a .293/.376/.467 slash line this season in 75 at-bats.

Stallings went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, two RBI, two runs and a walk in the Pirates' 10-0 win over the Astros on Thursday.

Gomes is not in the lineup Thursday against the Marlins, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.

Gomes will sit for the fifth time in the last eight games as Kurt Suzuki picks up another start behind the dish in his stead. Since the beginning of June, Gomes is slashing .146/.239/.244 with one home run and four RBI in 12 games.

Contreras is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Braves.

Victor Caratini will pick up the start at catcher for the afternoon contest after Contreras was behind the dish for the first three games of the series. Contreras delivered big performances in each of those contests, going a collective 5-for-10 with two home runs, a triple, a double, two walks, six RBI and three runs.

Diaz is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Astros.

Jacob Stallings will handle the catching duties in the series finale while Diaz rests following a string of three straight starts. Diaz, who is batting .290 in June, should continue to see the bulk of the action behind the dish at least until Francisco Cervelli (concussion) is cleared to return from the injured list.

Realmuto is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Mets.

Realmuto is just receiving some regular maintenance while the Phillies and Mets wrap up their series with a day game after a night game. Andrew Knapp will enter the lineup as the Phillies' catcher after sitting each of the previous three days.

Casali is starting at catcher Wednesday against the Angels, John Fay of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Casali was originally slated to get the day off, but an injury to Tucker Barnhart (side) forced the backstop into action. He's slashing .188/.316/.375 with two home runs in 12 games this month.

Curt Casali will enter the lineup in place of Barnhart, who should be considered day-to-day.
