Diaz isn't starting the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Nationals, Danielle Allentuck of The Denver Gazette reports.

Diaz started in the first game of the twin bill and went 0-for-3 with an RBI and two strikeouts. Brian Serven will start at catcher and bat ninth in the nightcap.

Nido isn't starting Saturday against Philadelphia, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Nido went 4-for-16 with two runs, an RBI, a walk and four strikeouts over his last five games, but he will get a breather Saturday. Nido has been sharing the starts behind the dish with Patrick Mazeika, who will get the nod Saturday and hit ninth.

Bart will sit Saturday against Cincinnati, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Bart didn't have much of an edge in playing time over Curt Casali throughout the middle of May, and with Casali back from a concussion, there's no guarantee Bart will make more than half the starts going forward. Casali owns an .816 OPS in 19 games this season, while Bart has posted a .634 OPS over 30 contests.

Casali (concussion) was reinstated from the 7-day injured list Saturday.

Casali spent a week on the injured list, but he cleared the concussion protocol and will start behind the plate and bat ninth Saturday against the Reds. Joey Bart has been struggling at the plate this season, so Casali had moved into a timeshare behind the plate prior to his absence.

Garver isn't starting Saturday against the Athletics.

After going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts Thursday, Garver will be out of the lineup for a second straight game. Andy Ibanez will serve as the designated hitter while Charlie Culberson starts at third base.

Heim isn't starting Saturday against Oakland.

Heim started the last four games and went 5-for-15 with a homer, three RBI, two runs and a stolen base. Sam Huff will take over behind the plate and bat fifth Saturday.

Narvaez isn't starting Saturday against the Cardinals.

Narvaez went 4-for-8 with a double over the last two games, but he'll take a seat with left-hander Matthew Liberatore starting for the Cardinals. Victor Caratini will start behind the plate and bat ninth.

D'Arnaud isn't starting Saturday against Miami.

D'Arnaud will get a day off after going 1-for-8 with a double, a run and a strikeout over the last two games. William Contreras will start behind the dish and bat seventh.

Perez (thumb) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Saturday.

Perez had been on the 10-day injured list since May 17, but he'll return to action after a relatively brief stint on the IL. The 32-year-old will serve as the designated hitter and bat cleanup Saturday, but he said he's fully healthy and expects to be available behind the dish as early as Sunday.

Jeffers isn't starting Saturday against the Royals.

Jeffers started in the last two games and went 1-for-6 with an RBI, two walks and a strikeout. Gary Sanchez will start behind the dish while Nick Gordon enters the lineup in left field.
