Haase went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a walk in Friday's 9-8 loss to the White Sox.

Haase failed to reach in his first two at-bats of the night but singled, homered and walked in his final three plate appearances. Friday marked his second multi-hit and multi-RBI performances in his last three games and he's now slashing .250/.318/.567 with five homers, eight RBI and 12 runs scored since being promoted May 12.

Grandal went 2-for-2 with two walks, two solo home runs and a third run scored in Friday's 9-8 win over the Tigers.

Grandal homered in the second inning to put Chicago on the board, then he rescued the team in the seventh with a game-tying blast after the White Sox's bullpen surrendered a five-run lead in the top half of the inning. That set the stage for Yermin Mercedes' walkoff single. Grandal's belted three homers over the last two days, giving him nine for the season. The catcher is batting .154 with a miserable .123 BABIP. He's been hitting the ball hard -- 97th percentile per Baseball Savant -- but right at defenders.

Murphy went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and three total RBI in a 9-5 win over the Rockies on Friday.

The backstop enjoyed a big day at the plate, driving in three runs for the first time this season. He blasted a solo home run to right field in the second inning, knocked in another run with a single in the third and notched another RBI with a double in the sixth. Over his past seven games, Murphy has knocked in 10 runs despite batting a pedestrian .259.

Maldonado went 2-for-5 with a home run, five RBI and two total runs scored in Friday's 13-1 win over Toronto.

In the sixth inning, the catcher blew the game wide open with a grand slam to put Houston ahead 7-0. Maldonado added an RBI single in the eighth. Friday was his third multi-hit game in 43 contests this year, all of which have come since May 14. The 34-year-old is slashing .164/.245/.286 with four homers, 14 RBI and 14 runs scored across 155 plate appearances.

Narvaez went 2-for-3 with a homer, a double, a walk, two RBI and three runs scored in Friday's 5-1 win over the Diamondbacks.

Narvaez doubled in a run in the third inning and came around to score on an error. He later tacked on an insurance run with a solo blast in the eighth. The 29-year-old was in a 4-for-35 slump entering Friday's game and he produced his first multi-hit effort since May 19.

Manager Jayce Tingler said Friday that Nola (knee) still needs "a week or two" before he's cleared to return, Dennis Lin of The Athletic reports.

Nola has been on the 10-day injured list since May 28 due to a slight knee sprain. It's not yet clear whether the 31-year-old will require a rehab assignment before he returns to the Padres, but Victor Caratini should continue to serve as the primary catcher in his absence.

Godoy isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the Angels.

Godoy will retreat to the bench for the third time in the last four games after he went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts Thursday. Tom Murphy will start at catcher and bat seventh.

Stassi isn't starting Friday's game against the Mariners, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Stassi had started each of the last two games, and he went 2-for-6 with a double, an RBI, a run and two walks. Kurt Suzuki will start behind the plate and bat fifth.

Gomes is out of the lineup Friday at Philadelphia due to some tightness in his right hamstring, Matt Weyrich of NBC Sports Washington reports.

The 33-year-old is on the bench for the second straight contest due to the injury. Gomes is considered day-to-day, and the fact the Nationals have yet to make a roster move to add a third catcher indicates it may not be a serious injury. Alex Avila will receive another start behind the plate in his place.

Rogers is not in the starting lineup for Friday's matchup with the White Sox, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Rogers will get a breather Friday as Eric Haase takes over behind the dish to catch Spencer Turnbull.
